One of the greatest bands in history. Atmosphere upon atmosphere just layered and layered. Words can't do them any justice, just start picking songs and listening and you're in for a treat!
My favorite band of all time!!! Please do more Deftones!! Knife Party You've Seen the Butcher Risk Elite Be Quiet and Drive Bored My Own Summer Headup Rocket Skates Ohms
They definitely need to "Head Up" ft. Max from Sepultura. This is where he got the name for his other band, Soulfly. Also, it always reminds me to keep my head up no matter how bad things get. : )
I've seen them at least 20x. I've flown to Sacramento from Charlotte, NC to see them in their hometown. I got to sing with Chino in 2017, the best show I ever attended.
In Lord of the Flies, a group of children in an airplane crash-land on an island and are left to their own devices. I'll admit I never made the connection, but it is actually sort of relevant. Change and "Change (In the House of Flies)" I believe are the same, or rooted in the same work they did. This, however, is not only a great song, but a great music video. It is as so many things, up to personal interpretation. But it always made me think of how a maggot becomes a fly... and "house of flies" is a charnel house (morgue). About (possibly) the evolution of rotten relationships. The 2 cents of a half-drunk philosoph.
Deftones brings me back. Love them. I once chilled with them backstage at their concert in Amsterdam (I'm Dutch). My friend hooked up with the tour manager during their European tour at that time and arranged to go backstage. A perfect Circle was the supporting act at this concert. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Maynard backstage and unfortunately, they also did not do Passenger. Both bands were amazing though! The guys from the band were very tired though after the show and not very sociable. I did have a really nice talk with Chino's dad though. He was with them on tour and it was his first time in Europe. He has a really sweet dad. I also saw Deftones at a metal festival in Holland another time. Dynamo Open Air. Can't remember if it was before or after this concert, but it was the worst show I have ever seen. Chino probably smoked too much of the Dutch weed and drank too much. He was completely wasted and fell off the stage twice. Hahaha. At one point he was standing on the barriers in the front and people were throwing sand at him while he was shouting (with a mouth full of dirt): "It's only dirt, and dirt don't hurt." I felt sorry for the rest of the band because they played great and tried to make something of it despite all this. Touring is tough and they're just flawed humans like there rest of us so this happens sometimes. Maybe more so in Holland, because for a long time it was the only place in the world to smoke weed legally, and Dutch weed at that time was way stronger than you would get in other countries. So smoking up before a show during a demanding tour would not be the best idea.
Going for a third comment but... I very much appreciate that you guys actually value and respect the Trash Talker folks man. You guys have built yourself a following, and continue to put forth the very hard work that caused us to click like and subscribe to begin with. Catching you guys in a quick live-stream today is the best example of this. I wasn't looking for a live stream to bullshit or chat in, but when I sat down to coffee and saw that, I had to click it man. Just to say what's up. Keep up the good work fellas!
Damn bro thanks alot for this one. We appreciate your kind words of encouragement. We dont do this for the views, money (which isn't much at all doing reactions) but we do it because you guys send us such amazing music and we get to interact with awesome people such as your self. @@edgeymon6290 honestly I'd take anything from them. Walls of Jericho is an amazing track though. More people need hear their music, and I think these guys would really dig them.

Always preferred jon davis' originals, the covers on the soundtrack are great too, redeemer (manson) and forsaken (David draiman) absolute tunes.
Good call! On the subject of soundtracks, I'd recommend the Judgment Night soundtrack! Excellent mix of rap and rock. 🤙🏾🍻
