We live in the greatest times for being able to buy a quality , good sounding acoustic guitar even without spending a lot of money.Leave it to Martin to build a guitar like this. Sounds great!
Martin still uses tonewoods, but on their more expensive guitars. Just like other manufacturers use laminates on their cheaper guitars. You can't tell the difference between a D-28 and an X-Series?
Hi Devansh, this is just something I improvised when I made the video ;) I always try to come up with a new chord progression, then I record that, and then I improvise on top of that :) So it's all original stuff!
I notice your fretboard isn't nearly as light in color as the pictures I've seen online and other video reviews of this updated model. I wonder why that is?
@@The_Guitarshop I just bought one of these and yeah the fretboard is darker kinda like yours so I'm pleased with that. It sounds like yours has a good bit more bottom end than I'm getting from mine though. Do you think that's due to something in the recording process perhaps?
damn 820€ ..in germany its 719€ and even this is too much ..in USA its 599$ ..if it was 599€ I would buy it but you can get like a yamaha fs3 for 769€ in germany ..so buying this martin would be dumb
The price has actually been lowered a bit after this video was uploaded! In most places it sits in between 731 and 799 right now. The fluctuating prices have to do with availability and the fact that this is a discontinued model so harder to get.And also the US is not a good comparison, since in the EU they will always be more expensive because of import.
@@pierreg8562 we still have one in the shop and there are still some available here and there, but because of shortness of supply around the world, new ones can’t be ordered anymore right now.

They cost 1.5k...they aren't cheap lol.
Just cheap for a martin.
They sell for a few hundred
@@glennjustice2760 700.. my bad thought it was a ooo12 koa

Good to hear!
This guitar is fantastic! Easy to play, sound beautiful. I love It!

@@The_Guitarshop Wow, that progression is so heart warming...
@@devanshissoni Thanks! I will remember ;)
How about the Nut width ?

Hi Jason, there is always a lot of difference between two pieces of wood. Could very well be a darker piece then most others out there, thats all ;)

why didn;t you plug it into an amp?
2nd video In a row where they didn’t plug it in… wonder why
All piezo sound the same. Search any other guitar with a piezo and that's what you'll get pretty much.
Laminated is laminated and the price tag for a laminated instrument should not be high in my opinion
$650.
$650.00
You’re paying for the headstock graffiti… but I agree. I have a $200 Alvarez that sounds as good as these “budget” laminate Taylors and Martins..
@@chumdinger_official I seriously doubt it.
This guitar feels great to play and sounds really good.
Maybe overpriced by a hundred bucks but still a Martin, a nice Martinez :)
I bought an Eastman e6om for the same price as this ,all solid fantastic guitar with Martin you pay for the name
The point is that Martin is over priced
NO rosewood! this is a sustainable guitar - they'd never put that valuable wood on this guitar
Why is no one plugging this in?… 2nd Video. I’ll save my like for number 3, maybe.
