If you put a “V” cut in the top of the “B” post it stops it from impinging towards the casualty when cutting the base

Sounds Good....Is good instruction....But how practical in reality?.....Lucky to have one or two realy good extrication crew on any call. Watch some reality....Just saw a "Class 1" dept make simple door pop look like a major mess. Members crawling all over each other. I have been doing this for 33 years and I have very seldom seen sharps protection or anyone taking the time to "pry and peek" in a serious crash....If you have 10 members on the extrication...maybe. Not likely. In realy bad crashes good luck shutting down the electrical system....who has a guy sitting in the truck reading the book about how to do it or even find it. Training is awsome. But real live extrication done by the average firefighters is another story. And you guys know that.
