Anna's blogging style is not my favorite. She insists on having her face in every single frame. It's okay to show us the ship, the water and the island without having your face in it.
So she got an entire cabana for free and the ONLY thing she liked about it was the diet soda? Really? Show us around the cabana! Show us the island!

I'm sorry. I cannot believe that on a sponsored trip she chooses to "listen to her body" and not vlog. Girlie.... I think that was the whole point of Disney paying for you to be out there. Smh. I think she just wanted and opportunity to get plastered in peace. lol. I'm sure they will not extend a invitation like this to her again. It was a waste for a free trip for them in terms of marketing. They should have solicited someone like Nicole Keating. I'm sure her little family would have had a blast out there and done them some justice.

Taking five steps while talking-runs out of breath.
Walking half a mile burns around 30 calories. That's not an "earning a drink" type of activity unless that drink is an icy cold glass of water.
People think that working out burns whatever their machine tells them. That's not true, it only burns a couple hundred calories over your daily expenditure. Imagine how much food some tribal people would have to consume when all they do is hunt and walk all day 🙄

The amount of calories burned by an activity isn't universal. Someone her weight might have actually "earned a drink".

That's enough for one shot of most liquors, which is the amount in a weak mixed drink, but it wouldn't include the mixer (unless she was doing diet soda, and I don't think she does artificial sugars in a mixed drink). Maybe she could have a very small glass of wine. I don't think that's what she meant though.

I find that there is a big difference between "Disney adults" and adults who just want to go on rides/roller coasters.
So true. There’s people who drink beer and ride rides..then there are the adults who wait in hour long lines to meet “Mickey Mouse”.

Holy crap, I just noticed something! She was filming about how a cart could come take them to the ship, and while she's talking you see a family with 2-3 kids quickly walking past her while you see a cart going by further in the background. Then she says a family needed it more. I think it was just first come first serve and the family got there first while she stood around filming, and she didn't want to wait on it again. 😅😅

A bad spokesperson for Disney
I loved my 4 day Disney cruise, but I am a Disney fan still as an adult. The food was marvelous, truly 5* cuisine even at the buffet (there was a seafood restaurant themed around The Little Mermaid which I loved) and the whole ship was decorated like a palace with red velvet and gold.
I swam with stingrays and read on the beach, had a hot stone massage in the adult area spa, watched Disney movies on the deck under the stars - Cruella on the big screen on a lounger was excellent.
They had characters roaming around but everything just felt really luxurious most of all.
There, in one comment I made the cruise seem more marvelous than Anna managed in a whole video!

My understanding with Disney cruises is that the food is great and their customer service is unparalleled. Some people are weird about it, but it's mostly about the food and stellar service.

Disney islands are all inclusive. Also, they have kids camp so you drop the kids off for the day and the adults can do adult things. It’s absolutely one of the best holidays for families with younger kids. Parents get enough alone time and the kids have a blast.
And this is the information that people would love to get to know from vloggers :) sounds super cool!
i love quiet and calm vacations where i can do whatever i want like hiking and fishing, visiting shops, playing in water all day. the whole cruise schedule and waiting in lines and security stuff would ruin the trip for me. what's the point of relaxing when u have to worry abt so many things
I agree, cruises seem awful to me. Unless it's low traffic + mostly just chilling on board. Otherwise it's like never leaving the airport
On a cruise, the ship is just your moving hotel. It usually travels overnight, when you're in the Bahamas/Caribbean, and then in the morning you can get off the ship and do planned excursions or go do your own thing. Then you have to be back on board by a set time - sometimes as early as 4 PM. Then the ship sets off for the next destination. Usually you spend one day at a location, sometimes 2 days. But even then you have to make sure with your cruise company if its ok to stay off the boat that night. It usually isn't - But you'll have a later all aboard time if they aren't travelling out that night. And you've already paid for your room on the ship so it doesn't make sense to stay on the island.

If you go back to Spain, definitely try Galicia! Beautiful trails, mountains, coasts, castles, forts, cathedrals, delicious food. It's truly magical.

@@shannonbalthazor8712 Baiona and the mountain to the south to see wild horses, Vigo, Islas Cíes, Santiago de Compostela, Playa de las Catedrales, Fragas do Eume (Do not ever go off trail, the forests are so dense it's like night and there are wild boars, bears, wolves.), A Coruña. I haven't been inland but I lived on the coast for almost a decade. If you love nature, it's a wonderful place.
My suggestion is to start in the south and take trains to the north and stop along the way to different cities and find landmarks or natural places you'd like to see. Fly into Porto, Portugal and travel north, you'd fly out of Santiago de Compostela. It's easy to find cheap hostels because of the pilgrimage. You'd need a car to get to more remote places.
There is a pilgrim passage from Portugal to Santiago de Compostela as well, it's called Camino Portugués or the Portuguese Way. It's a 260km hike.
Galicia can be very rainy, it's one of the only green regions of Spain, so if you don't mind that you can go any time. If you want a dryer season, it would be June-September. August and September are very hot.
Everyone else around her was walking normally not huffing and puffing. Yeah it was probably hot but it is hot in Texas too. You would think this would be a wake up call for her but I know it won't be.
For real. I'm also from Austin, and it's hot, but not panting-like-a-dog hot (yet).

Films herself on multiple lines, but shows nothing from the actual ship and hardly anything from the new Disney island area. What’s the point? 🤷🏽
This is why in general these types of cruises are terrible for local tourism & economy. People sleep and eat on the ship, which makes sense because all is included in the trip. They get dropped off somewhere for a couple hours. Don't spend any money there on local food and shops. In return a lot (not all) of people leave their garbage around or trash the beautiful nature.
That island is owned by Disney..they must pay huge taxes to the Bahamas govt..who knows whether they employ local and buy food from local suppliers..I don’t think so..
I’ve been on 2 cruises to the Caribbean. There was SOOO much to see and do! An entire shopping malls, concert halls, casinos, bars, arcades, pools with water slides, and so on and so on. But no. We just see her big ass face with noise constantly coming out the front of it.

Someone who would appreciate the cruise should have went. She barely showed the ship or really the island. There is so much to do on islands. Im sure they had a waterpark, some shopping, different excursions, etc. Also her saying basically youve seen one ship you seen them all isnt really true. Each ship has a theme,design, activities. Also she did the same thing with virgin voyages where she said the last day will be for herself and she won't film at all.

This was a soft opening for the cay which is why there were fewer families and kids, because a lot of the people there were invited by Disney on this trip. And there are usually lots of activities and excursions available on these type of islands.
Ok…so she didn’t show us her suite, nor the restaurants, gym, theatre, pool/ spa..it was very strange..the cabana looked amazing..,she isn’t a great travel vlogger..

I just started watching you I'm getting motivated as a 60 year old trying to change my food for some months now caring for bedridden mom .And with arthritis all over but I keep moving I'm over weight just not that much but I see me as in her body type .Ive been struggling with my weight all my life .But it's the food that gets the weight off .
Yeah, this type of holidays isn't my thing either. We love to do road trips through different states/countries sightseeing, hiking doing different activities. I get bored very easily - I wish I could just relaxe on the beach for a few days but after 1 hour I already want to do something else. Love to visit Bulgaria on day...sounds lovely.
I went on a cruise at my most fit and the amount of sore I was at the end of the trip is literally a day of a small amount of extra effort I exert in a body that is 100 lbs heavier (had a baby. Not an excuse, just what happened.) I look forward to having the resilience of that body again
I am sorry everyone had to see Anna's vlog. There are actually nlots of things adults cab do like water sports. Dancing games fir adults music. Ut goes into the night. I just think because she doesn't have the energy she did not nfo those things but there is. Alot to keep people entertained. I will say it is definitely more difficult to eat on vacation, but Anna doesn't have an excuse because she has access to so many healthy options at Disney and these other places she goes to. I'm currently on vacation to a small town in Texas (visiting grandparents), and the highest rated place is a buffet. I'm glad my partner and I are heading to a major city for two days while we're here so we can actually get real food.

Anna did that walk ok, because she’s a “runner,” who never actually runs.
So I did watch another travel content creator go to this island and they also said it was A LOT of walking, that everything was spread out on the island and it took them 10 minutes to walk from the boat to the island. Obviously they did a much better job reviewing everything. They mainly said with the walking there should be more shade because it was so hot more so than more shuttles.
This was the first time a cruise went to this island (private island for Disney cruises) and it seems like a lot of influencers went to cover this. So I'm guessing that's why it seems there aren't many kids around.
Also please react to ALR she's been posting more what I eat and I'd love to hear your response to them!

South Spain is great for fresh fish! I don’t eat tapas much. But the fish, churros, paella, gazpacho, cured hams, cheese and big salad and crusty bread!
Agree cannot just lay out on the beach I like to walk around the old town, go to local markets and have nice café con leche or sangria when it’s too hot! Gosh imagine those poor people dancing in that heat wearing those Disney character costumes! 🚢

I think your hair up like that flatters you. I was wondering Ilona, are TDEE calculators accurate for you? They overestimate my calories by 300 a day. I'm not sure if it's because I'm insulin resistant or they're often inaccurate.
(I always liked the spray sunscreens but even use SPF 50 and reapplying every 2 hours I still burn. It surprises me that she doesn't burn even with sunscreen. I haven't finished the video but watched another reaction and her getting a coke from the mini fridge, filming more with the door left open and it beeping then walking away is so indicative of her personality. She got a cold drink, who cares about all the other people that come after her right?)
I think you’d find a way to enjoy that stretch of beach for the day. You could snorkel and workout and the beach and do some sprint drills in the sand. I think you’d enjoy it your own way 😊cruises USUALLY are a day trip at each port but some do stay overnight
I often don't wear makeup because I haven't found any that isn't obvious. I'd rather be caught looking bad because my skin is getting older than caught looking bad because I smeared some ugly crap on my face and can't see that it looks bad.

Yes there is a lot to do on the ship as it is the main base. Casionos, golfing, clubs, resturants, pools, some have theatres, stores (clothing, jewelry, perfume), and so much more. They stop at the islands for a day approx 6 hours or so and leave again for the next destination. If the destinations are far apart there may be "sea days" , which are the days that there are no stops at all, so everyone is just on the ship for the entire day, until the ship gets to the next stop.
