  • Fading Love by Seraph, featuring John Cooper from Skillet on lead vocals. John sang in Seraph for 5 years before starting Skillet. Fading Love is the last song from the four song Silence E.P., recorded at the Warehouse studio in Memphis, TN in 1994.

      MusicmanPL Can't say exactly when, but soon. I have these songs on old scratchy sounding cassette tapes, so I'm in the process of transferring them to digital and cleaning up the quality a bit.

    Sounds good, quite pity the band broke apart, but if that didn t happen Skillet wouldn t probably exist.

      John Cooper tried to keep Seraph going for a while, but it just wasn't the same. He then started another band with a few Seraph members called "Funky Dynamo and his big toe" or just "Funky Dynamo" for short. While he was trying to get that going, he was doing a side project with Ken Steorts from the band Urgent Cry, and they called that band Skillet. Skillet got more attention than Funky Dynamo, and the rest is history.

    Wow... this was better than anything Skillet has ever put out. Not saying much, Skillet is subpar at best. Can't wait for John to whinge about "deconstruction" again.
