Incredible solo by Dave and his Wayne guitar.. Most people don't know but Dave has been a long time fan of Wayne guitars and has used them for at least 13 years that I know of for sure.. If you've never played one I suggest you do.. There's truly nothing that's close IMHO...

AUGUST 30th, 2015: I am of the opinion that, "22 Acacia Avenue" is the heaviest, most brutal song ever written by IRON MAIDEN. I know it's 33 years old but it still KILLS. Dave Murray never can play a live solo as the original song in studio, he's a improvise player, but it's sad, because fans want to hear the original solos the best players can do, i want!! If you listen the solo in studio version and this is so different. Adrian is of another level, he can play the right notes, and play very well and much close as the original song.

Same! One is attached to the original studio version solo (and everything), if you wanna change, don’t change a lot, or at least make something melodically and emotionally near to the original! Adrian sometimes do the same sometimes but lesser! They are all great, but for me the studio version is the base and what the band really wants, and what you hear and are attached first and the most! A great example, the solos of Phantom of the Opera in the live versions by Murray, it’s so different and somehow distorted (deformed) and less affectionate and affective than the original! Some of their live versions are great, but some aren’t! Even Vocally it’s the same thing! Don’t change a lot, otherwise the song is different and you’ll lose its identity! The base line, drums, riffs, bridges, switches are great studio and live often, but vocals and solos sometimes aren’t that much idk 🤷! In the end, as you said they want something different a bit (a lot actually 😜), and its artistic choice! When you love something a lot, sometimes it disappoints you at least a few times

Bruce literally said, “if you want to post it everywhere, as long as you buy a copy when it released, we don’t give a f*ck!” That goes completely against the rules in a live performance but he was fine with it! That is why we love Iron Maiden, they love their fans, they have so much character, and they make the best music!

I can enjoy softer music like Dylan or Springsteen but sometimes when im listening to a slower and softer tune i feel myself getting bored, so i look up this video and it never disapoints. So fucking raw and heavy, hope this is on the setlist on their upcoming tour! Up the irons!
