Can I know why you prefer using low gears than higher ones? Is it for having them longer and not losing that much traction? Good job btw, you're cracked at racing:)
Thanks so much! My philosophy is this... in an endurance race, the initial launch isn't as important as the rest of the race.
A low first gear that can carry speed but also not negatively impact your acceleration is generally what you want to go for around low speed corners.
This just allows you to use the other gears for better mid-range acceleration, fully utilising each gear. You may have saw it benefitted me traction wise coming out of turn 1, as I could put power down so much more easily than a short first gear would've.
However, you may decide to prefer a stronger launch and go for a short first gear. It just depends on the track and your preference, but for this a longer first gear is the way to go imo!

Why is your turning only 38 on the car setup ?
No need for a ton of turning angle. Race cars don't need it as it's only for drifting to hold an angle.
