As long as I get to see the bus come back to life, I don’t mind how the videos are. Just happy it’s coming together really.
I’m happy it’s coming together too! Been working like a mad lad lately
I don’t mine what video you make first I just Injoy watching them and seeing you bring back the beautiful buses that we’re built many years ago keep up the good work you’re doing awesome job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 take care and god bless 😊
Enjoying this series a lot! Makes me really miss my older V Dubs. Keep up the great work! I can see you going far with your work quality and editing.
Cheers 🥂
Thanks a ton!
I love your channel and I wait every Wednesday and Sunday to watch the updates on this awesome resto! I just wish your vídeos were longer!!! Keep up the quality!
Thank you for the kind words man, it means alot!
I like watching the steady progress. Keep up the great work!
More to come!
I'd like to see the old guitar soundtrack you used to use in the old videos! nostalgia 😊
I was looking for the right one for last episode and couldn't find it! But I have not forgotten
Time laps is king when shooting mundane tasks…. Your voiceover makes the mundane watchable though lol
Your editing and passion on the project is amazing…. Any updates released will be enjoyed and appreciated
Thanks for the positivity. There will be plenty of timelapses on Sundays episode.
Derustimifired 😂 Happy with all videos you put out on the bus 😊 I will take anything you offer.
Thanks for the kind words!
Let’s see more of Mallory!😊
She says the garage is too stinky haha
Looking good! I vote for frontside ollie to tail and/or backside 50/50 grind on the mini-half.
I think I can pull off the backside 50/50 haha
tanks for sharing...
Make it fun :). I love seeing the bus come to life, so whichever repair seems to talk to you most is the repair I want to see.
Narration is always fun, so if the content seems relative and important then definitely share it. Having consistent uploads is great, even if they are short or stray off path a little.
I like the way you put it. Some repairs do truly speak to me more than others
Big brother please note that I enjoy your videos..... Having said that..... I know that this project is challenging for you.... I personally don't have the skill set that you have... I would imagine your tired of working on this project and would like to enjoy your Bus.... I would cry if you stop these videos.... your a great teacher....
These videos will not stop and once the bus is completed I have another big Bus project in mind :)
I vote for option 1. Minimize videos on things already completed on the passenger side and concentrate on new work to be completed.
Can do!
Second this! Maybe throw in some things you learned that made you go a different route on repairs! :D
I only just found your channel, have binged watched your videos and now i am sad there's no more 😂. I am happy to watch in any format, i like regular uploads (as i am sure many do) 👍
Glad you found the channel! I will continue to release the regular uploads not to worry 👍
All I'll say Kris is don't feel you have to rush it I took my time you'll get better results like that😊
I definitely don't plan on rushing repairs, just want to keep moving forward at my current pace!
You have the same rust spots at your bus like at my current project. Wow
I think my bus had every single common rust spot rusted lol
It’s enjoyable seeing a lot of the little jobs all get done. That in a project is a massive tick off the to do list.
What would you rather move on to?
I really want to get to making my custom cooling setup for the EJ25 swap :D
@@Vangabonders
I’m onboard for that. I’m looking forward to seeing the swap. Basically so I can see what to do with mine.
Looking good 🎉 pbr box is good for making templates 😅
Yes, you are right lol
I'm SO looking forward to the ej25 content ;)
Soon my friend
You could just do as most manuals do and say assembly is the reverse 😂
Also I think it's time you altered your logo an put Malerie in it as the other guy hasn't been I any videos for ages. 😉
Better big chunks of update, especially on stuff already seen, just mirrored.
Give it some time, put up a vid that's longer, but full of super content. Like 40 min is fine for a top notch update.
Shorter ones for some cool piece of tech you wanna showcase, or a new skill to learn. That's how I like 'em.
I think it's better for the builder too... can take more time to edit... production quality win, and not as much stress.
I like those ideas!
Have you checked with your friends, to see if they have a door where you can cut out the pieces you need and put original German metal in, it is probably cheaper to do than going through all the trouble of cutting pieces and put themin.
more detail more vids
Would you have ever considered using sheet aluminium for the floor? I know you want to keep it stock and its too late now but the original floors are rust farms.
I went with the original replacement floor from WW. I’m happy with that. Don’t think aluminum would work right. Would all have to be panel bonded in
True. The supports would have to be aluminium to be able to weld on the aluminium floor, then where do you stop.
full aluminum baywindow haha @@neilkennykenny4113
I have a question! I used the rust converter and after its been applied and ready for primer, I noticed the surface can be a little smoother. Is it ok if I sand down the surface with the rust converter applied, or will that remove it and not make it as effective?
As long as the rust has been neutralized it shouldn’t matter. Unless you are talking about the zinc coating that hazes over the metal after using a rust neutralizer. That Can typically be painted over as long as it’s clean
Gotcha! So what I did was I ran the carbide disc all over the areas, then added the rust neutralizer, I noticed some spots needs to be smoothened out before the epoxi primer, so am I good to rerun the carbide disc in those areas? Although It might remove that coating from the neutralizer, I'm still good to apply the epoxi primer after the neutralizer has been applied right?
@@raunylima3863 as long as your surface is clean and free of grease and is roughed up to at least 80 grit you should be fine. I covered this in my latest video today actually
@@Vangabonders thank you very much brother!!!
Are you going to put a VW engine back into your Van ? Or not ?
stick around to find out 😊
Have you though about side windows in the roof ?
I’m gonna have the fiberglass pop top on the roof 😁
my 2 cents.... I would probably stop committing Wednesday/Sunday videos, which will probably reduce your stress in putting out videos on those days. You may want to target getting videos out those days, but not commit. With regards to the videos, unless the work on the other side of the van is drastically different. I would just show the work you completed (or time lapse it) and move on with new material. There is probably a "sweet spot" that you need to experiment with, where you can get good content out, move forward at a reasonable pace on your project and not get bogged down with too much video stuff (filming, editing, etc...). Thanks for the videos!!!
use the subaru as a paper weight and fix the stock engine
😂
They should be tackled physically
Come here and I’ll tackle you physically
