I am a millennial born in the 1980s and I have dreamed for years of owning a Dodge Challenger Hellcat! I remember growing up in the 1990s and scowling the school library for car books and magazines and salivating at pictures of '68 Dodge Chargers, the legendary 426ci HEMI V8s, 440ci V8 Plymouth Cudas and the candy store of car colors WOW! I remember thinking at age 13, god the baby boomers and older where so lucky to be alive and driving at that time, I am jealous of them. I will never, in my life get to see such a golden age in cars. Well come 2009 and HOLY COW Dodge brought us humans the Challenger again!! Wow what a time to be alive to see these prowling the streets!!! 🤩🤩🤩

There's something about a coupe with large wide C-pillars. Some of my overall favorite car designs are the Challenger, Audi A5/S5 coupe and the Bentley Brooklands.

"When you press the accelerator to the floor, tens of thousands of parts in the car come to life, yes, just for you. They play a beautiful symphony under the command of the internal combustion engine, like a harmonious orchestra. The roar of the engine is the crescendo of this concert, incomparable to the electromagnetic sound of electric cars. I don't like the quietness of electric cars, for quiet is meant for the dead. In the embrace of a gasoline car, life continues with each jump of the spark plug, pulsating like a heartbeat, powering your journey. Look at that driveshaft, a crystallization of human wisdom, transmitting power and taking you to unknown places. That spark plug, the heart of the internal combustion engine, each ignition is a leap of life, a crystallization of the engineer's wisdom. The entire internal combustion engine is like a sculpture at the pinnacle of industry, representing human creativity and indomitable spirit. Driving a gasoline car, we feel more than just the passion of dancing with machinery; we admire the engineering marvels, awestruck by the industrial peak represented by the internal combustion engine. Every press of the accelerator is an intimate contact with the greatness of technology and engineering, feeling the brilliance of human intelligence. Therefore, a gasoline car is not just a means of transport; it is a masterpiece of human industrial art, a symbol of passion and power. Let us cherish this wonderful mechanical world, feel the charm of the internal combustion engine, and make every drive a journey full of music and passion."

For me, the interior lets this car down. Looks like something that will look very cheap in not so distant future. Also, looks bulbular and fat, lots of crazy looking shapes. Eh, can't have it all. Still a very cool car IMO.
Also, you said it's "simple", but it is simple in function and not in looks. Would prefer to switch it around.

This is the only car that has not changed design for years and still outsells the competition. It is BY FAR one of the best look two door cars every made and THEE BEST looking American muscle car. The only thing I would want dodge to do in order to improve the handling of this car would be to make a new version with the same shape and design but shrunken down a bit to the size of a Camaro. It’s a bit large a boat-like and putting it on a diet would make it perform and handler tighter and more agile…..I guess the big touring-like ride and handling is a part of being a muscle car. I think they were just intend to be powerful in a straight line and I’m fine with that. The car is just beautiful. So sad it is going away. I don’t think ev is the way to go. It doesn’t seem sustainable. Where and how will all the crashed and old ev be disposed. What about the means by with we get the lithium…doesn’t that damage the environment. It just doesn’t make sense. The ev thing is just marketing to get people excited about a new way to make cars and therefore spark a new wave for car sales like they did in the 50s.

Nice presentation and review, you make me want to buy one. They should just keep making them like those russian lada cars that never really changed over 30 years. We need something to stick around that says and looks the part of "murica". I don't feel that when I look at the new camaro and mustangs. Wish they all would of stayed with their original retro redesigns. They got so curvy and feminine looking imo. Like trying to put hairy men in dresses and lipstick with spanx. Just doesn't work for me personally. I also think it makes me feel young in some way knowing these came out when I was 17 and are still being sold.

Pff. EV is the easy part. Just buy in an engine. If you want 300 more HP, just put in another one. As easy as that. No engineering, craftsmanship, or expertise required. Just buy off the shelf components from the same handful of Chinese companies that everybody else uses.
Were over 10 years away from the definiteyly planned end of the gas engine. If they are killing it already, its because nobody was buying it.
