I dread thinking about all that effort in my world. Played my empire upto 3000 in vanilla, added a fee dlcs, robot uprising. Several 2 million fleets just popped up in the galaxy. The fights took ages and incredible amounts of ships were lost. Best thing was you could see explosions chaining through the starsystem for months
Probably have to begin writing the death letters and wills before the battle, and email them out after reports are final, and of course there’s the communication lag so a few of those wills and letters will go out to families of personnel still alive and take days or months to get to them before word reaches back that there’s even an issue
Made me think of a nice current run I have of stellaris where I reconstructed a sensor array and realised that all the L gates were either in my territory, in unclaimed space nobody happened to spawn in, and one was in a neighboring (now vassal) state. *The gates shall open when the Imperium of Man decrees, and not a microsecond before!* Also beautiful battles.
@@WindrunnerB4 I did a run through once wjere I didn't get involved in wars (unless defensive) until I was overwhelming to most of the ai and I tell you. It is too fun
@@joshuahodgkinson1580 exactly, same. Overwhelming fleet power is so fun. I recently did a devouring swarm but I quit about 120 years in because I conquered the galaxy and forgot to make the endgame earlier, and I didn’t want to sit around keeping my economy from collapse for 130 more years.

I gotta know if this is AI or not. Because Whenever I play the AI are the equivelent of space sponge. They can never prove a challenge to me in the late game.
I play on Grand Admiral difficulty for this reason. Lower difficulty the AI is easily outsmarted, on higher difficulty it adapts quicker and WILL respec to match your weaknesses. Low difficulty AI will just throw whatever at you
@@j.vinton4039 does the AI REALLY counter your tactics on higher difficulties or do they just get a ton of buffs? I ask this because it’s very unlike paradox to code the AI to be that intelligent.
Thanks! Yes it was single player, I played the devouring swarm. Eventually the whole Galaxy joined against me. Add to the a few mods such as improved fighters and extra ship parts for awesome shots :D
Why set the endgame to 100 years later? Are you playing on half tech progress? or using mods to greatly extend tech tree? in those 2 situations I can see the benefit.
No camera mod actually. I used the steam controller to control the camera. You need to use the console to activate the Keypad and then you will be able to move the camera in full 3d as I did. Just check on google :)
@@Volgrand Huh, interesting! I didn't know you could do that, just have used the cinematic camera in the past its great. But I guess a controller would be MUCH more smoother

Imagine the actual administrative paperwork of Medals, death letters, wills, and pay that has to be done after the battle.
No doubt about it: This is the best comment for this video!
That’s why you build bureaucratic centers

Correction: "This is why you DO go to war with everyone at once!"

This is like a mini star Wars battle but on a clip
Holy Shroud, this look amazing!
I'm still wondering how to get my pop to stop dying and this guys has 20 fleets and an empire lol
Wow! This is one cool Stellaris story!
Thank you, my man! Glad you enjoyed it :)
this is why i prefer kentic weapons like the coil guns, its so much more fun to watch the projectiles fly across space and then explode.
Meanwhile in toe Romulan Star Empire: Maintain cloak, subcommander. Let these idiots fight it out for us.

Add the Clone wars Republic GAR Marching theme :D

It was AI with the Glavius AI mod
TBH, I was amazed on what happened that game. I never managed to make it happen again.

No. Se asemeja mucho más al Europa Universalis en sus mecánicas y complejidad.

I'm still shocked that I managed to catch that shot there. Glad you liked it :)
What specs u have mate?
Stellaris is all about reanacting the space battles from Mass Effect Series
So, who won?
The swarm.
How can you hide the hud?

The battle is in full 3d, that's actually super cool, is that an old deleted feature of stellaris or a mod?

There were no cheats on this game, my dude :). I swear it all happened playing normally, and I didn't manage to make such an epic game happen again.

MODS used??
Been some time. Awesome space battles, improved fighters and I think some AI improvements as well.
