PLAY BETTER GOLF, by Fixing This 1 Thing During the Fitting Process.

- Ep.09 - In this video we share the number one mistake we see a lot of Club FItters make when they take their customer through the club fitting process. Spoiler alert its never just the Golf Club. There's never a single fitting session I will do, where Technique doesn't enter into the equation and I'm a firm believer that the difference between a good fitting and a bad fitting is when a fitter doesn't ignore the technique side of the coin, to help the customer understand whats going on once the ball leaves the clubface and more imoirtantly why it's doing what it is.

As a Mizuno clubfitter, this is a most useful video. Thanks for the great work.
Glad it was helpful! And thanks for the support.
Damn. I wish I could make it to your area. Canada is just a little far away.
You should make more of these fitting videos. They are the best on youtube. I love it.
Thanks for sharing. This one was fun to do and I believe we will be doing more of these in the near future.
I have been setting up behind the ball for 3 years after watching Moe Norman. It seems to help my takeaway and gives me far better consistency
It’s an instant fix for a lot of golfers. Thanks for sharing.
I hear some fitters saying that they dont address technique. But I’m with you on this one. 👍
Without question It’s a missed opportunity, and one that I believe that has the biggest impact with building trust and growing relationships, as I’m no longer viewed as a guy who just sells golf clubs. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent as usual John. Crazy gains. You make it look so simple.
Thanks for the kind words. Anytime we are dealing with technique it’s really anything but simple, I have about 7 ways to help someone with AOA the thing is trying to figure out which one is going to connect so that I don’t play whack a mole with someone’s swing. I will say the gear side is 100 times easier though.😀
Another great video!! Love the swing tips / set-up changes!!
Glad you like them! And thanks for the support.
Great video , thank you again for diving deep. This is close to me in this example. I'm just topping out at about 100 or just under swing speed and my miss is right, so this was right in my wheelhouse for almost everything. Keep up the great work ! Some day I will definitely make my way out to you. Thanks again!!!
We’re not going anywhere so don’t hesitate to look us up, and thanks for the continued support.
Another great video! Learned a few things and going to try some of the recommendations. I’ve gotten my slice under control, but my ball flight is really low.
Thanks bud, don’t hesitate to reach out should you ever want to spit ball on what may be going on.
Keep cranking out the good info
Will do!
Great video, you simply described a lot of what I face with my Driver Swing. I am in need of a Driver Fitting, should I wait to correct as much of this as I can before I do it, or go ahead and book an appointment?
There’s nothing wrong with working on the pieces that you know needs help. But I would encourage you to look for fitters in your area who also has a coaching background and as a caveat, they don’t have to be a certified teaching, PGA professional.
I think it’s great fitters can advise on swing technique, but always have the courtesy to clearly ask for permission.
I think that’s a fair statement.
