Regarding stormtrooper armor, I remember reading the novelization of A New Hope, blasters were described as vaporizing the armor material, which then caused horrible burns on the flesh out the soldier. That's right: it actually hurts more to wear that armor than going unarmored.
Darth Vader most certainly can sit. He sits in his meditation chambers and he sat down for dinner at Cloud City. He also sits in his special Tie Fighter.
Phasmas armour does have a tactical advantage. Her armour is shown to deflect blaster shots that would otherwise be either debilitating or lethal. This is shown in The Last Jedi, with Finn's fight with Phasma. I believe it was Rose who shoots at her (though it may have been Finn. I dont recall). The blaster used was an SE-44C automatic blaster pistol, carried by officers usually.
Assuming you go by the many games available, Vibro swords also seems to work. Which are apparently basically just swords that, "because science", vibrate super fast essentially causing a chainsaw like effect. How that stops searing hot plasma / Laser light swords is beyond me. Probably also "because science".
Armour Weave is a micrometal fabric made from weaving metal thread fibers together. This method is designed to disperse energy weapon fire instead if melting or shattering hard armour. It also has an added affect of catching shrapnel from explosives from behind the wearer.
Yup. I remember it being super vague, at least in the TV show. "It wasn't his size, or anything in particular he did. He was just good." Or something like that. Maybe in the books it's different?
To be fair though, the armor being effective at blocking blaster fire but not capable of stopping a 5kg / 10lb rock honestly doesn't seem that strange to me. They live in a sci fi future where guns that shoot small pieces of high velocity metal is no longer a danger, and all guns shoot super hot bolts of energy. And (excluding Jedi, who are exceedingly rare during the period of the Stormtroopers being the bad guys) almost no one uses swords or melee weapons of any kind. If 99% of threats you face were ranged bolts of hot energy, then you would want your armor to be protective against ranged bolts of hot energy. Perhaps "Plastoid" or whatever it was, is just VERY good at dispersing heat energy (As unlike Light sabers, which can be held in place to melt through doors and such, a blaster shot hits you, gives you it's energy, and that's it.), while offering enough basic protection to at least stop most things smaller than a common hunting knife, and being incredibly light weight. Which essentially makes it the perfect armor for that time in 99.9% of use cases. Does this mean that the moment a space ninja wielding a melee weapon shows up, it's game over? Sadly yes. But that's not it's intended purpose. Does this also mean the moment the High Tech Future Nazis decide to wage a war on a caveman era planet fighting sticks and rocks, they get their proverbial shit bashed in? Hilariously also yes. Because again, that's not it's intended purpose. Does this mean to "Win" star wars, someone would just need to find a 10 thousand year old working high caliber assault rifle that actually fires small pieces of metal and not bolts of super heated energy / plasma? ...Probably also yes. GG Star wars. GG.
My favorite thing (rven though the glove of vader is still a bit ridiculous) is that its also the reason he hokds his hand up when hes not blocking blaster fire with his saber.

On top of which, Pal's made it known to Vader that his armour controls are also very vulnerable to force lightening - a power that Vader had no defense against due to his injuries and also the design of his armour is vulnerable to force lightening to dissuade Vader from attempting a coup d'etat against Pals!

I think most of it is done after the fact, owing to the mildly unpredictable nature of Karl's prepared rants.
So about decorating that castle... the new (2019) Vader comics have an arc about 1) choosing Mustafar as HIS WORLD (Yes, Palpatine gave him all of it after Vader ASKED for it, it's really amusing), 2) Palpatine giving Vader Padme's old ship and Vader trashing it by flying too close to a star because Sith emo crap, and 3) showing the process for designing Vader's castle while not being murdered by an ancient Sith zombie mask. I'm not making this stuff up.
Captain phasma deck out in a chrome, nergigante armor from monster hunter world
for polishing they just use a polishing machine
How does vader fly his fighter and use the seat in his meditation chamber?
Where is BRAD. Someone please let me know where he is ?
LjIzTheCrew Thank you.
Actually, the reason hes surrounded by shit that pisses him off is to keep him connected to the dark side
And his armor is so shit, painful, and vulnerable, for the same reason
Funny thing is, the armor is specifically made to be super vulnerable to lightning so Paptine could fuck with him whenever he wants
Karl can you link to the finished product thanks
The more you scrutinize and analyze death vaders armor the more sinister and manipulative darth sidious really is
Must be the new shitty canon.
In Legends, Vader's armour was initially shit on purpose because the emperor wanted him to suffer and harden him.
Vader altered and improved his armour over the years but couldn't improve the connections to what was left of his physical flesh.
Capt phasma is a rendition of Vader and a trooper it's weird
Phasmommy yeeeesssss
Vader did strangle someone with his hand in the first scene of A New Hope, though I don't recall which hand he used
In empire strikes back, Vader is sitting. Where are you getting these facts?
You reminded me that he is sitting in that pod thing on his star destroyer. He's also sitting down in Cloud City. I guess someone doing expanded Star Wars stuff forgot about those scenes.
Kaizoe Ocshtau he also kneels in ESB, to the hologram of palpatine. Lol I feel like such a dork pointing this out. Also, he sits in his tie fighter in A New Hope
This is raw and unfactchecked
They get it mostly from non canon wikis that random people make and can put stupid ass things for dumb asses to read and think it's true
@@KaitouKaiju then they should fact check before making a video about a subject that has 40 years of history and s fan base that will hunt you down and crucify you for not getting everything right
Should have given her Chun Li’s legs XD
The best part of the Star Wars universe was Timothy Zahn's series, and all that got tossed aside to make the new movies. Not that I really mind, I do appreciate having a female lead in a Star Wars movie, but Mara Jade was so fucking awesome and Grand Admiral Thrawn was the only villain in the Star Wars universe I ever liked more than Darth Vader. I really need to go back and read those books again; it's been something like 12 years since I first devoured them.
Well its mostly for blaster's not boulder's
There was almost too many women in the new Star Wars movies lol they could have scraped captain aluminum
7 people were weak in the force
Where is the captain's pic? The green screen isn't working
Not sure if joking, or doesnt know this is the unedited footage.
I thought a laser blast was actually deflected by her armor in a scene?
Yeah, in _The Last Jedi._
