      I interpreted that as her speed overpowering the spider-sense rather than being undetectable. Her powers were kinda overblown for dramatic effect when she was introduced. @Lalrivunga Hnamte It makes sense in the Marvel Universe because when Spidey is in that kinda of state he is working purely on Instinct and Spidey Sense. He's technically more dangerous in this state because there's no reasoning governing his actions. For his opponents it's actually better for them to completely knock him out than to have him semi-conscience because of this.

    • @DatDarkOne
      @DatDarkOne 5 лет назад +50

      @Lalrivunga Hnamte It has been stated time and time again in Spidey comics that anyone discovering Pete's identity as Spider-man could be dangerous for him and family. Hence why it warns him of being spotted.
      As for admitting it's magical, I already stated that "In the Marvel Universe" a place/reality that doesn't exist. come on man. LOL

    • @DatDarkOne
      @DatDarkOne 5 лет назад +16

      @Lalrivunga Hnamte So you're arguing that it doesn't make sense in general where as I was saying why it makes sense in regards to the original statement by Trevor Stevenson. Also there are many instances in Marvel where the lines between magic and science have blurred. In which they have stated as "Unknown Source". Such as where the extra mass of the Hulk during transformation comes from or the unique properties of the Ebony Blade (which is science in origin, but has magical properties).

    • @DatDarkOne
      @DatDarkOne 5 лет назад +7

      @Lalrivunga Hnamte "nah, I'm arguing why it doesn't make sense on how he get the ability." You should have said this clearly from the beginning instead of HunterXhunter thing. At this point I'm almost sorry I got involved in this circle jerk discussion.

      He also beat Firelord, who is a herald of Galactus, and very nearly as powerful as the Silver Surfer, once. He didn't want to fight him and evaded him for a long time, but eventually he got tired of being chased constantly and evaded all of Firelord's attacks in close combat while hitting Firelord until he dropped. Admittedly Firelord could have blown up a big enough area to defeat Spider-man earlier in the fight, but he would have killed tens of thousands to do it, so he didn't. But it was really the spider sense that kept Spider-Man in the fight when a single direct hit would have stopped him cold.

    Tom Holland's Spider-Man totally showcased Peter's inability to shut the hell up. He chatted up Cap so much during Civil War that Cap had to remind Peter, "there's usually not this much talking" in a fight. I feel like he was also a bit overly chatty in other scenes, but the only other one I can remember is during Endgame where he tries to explain to Tony all of the events that occurred after he was revived before he's shut up by Tony's hug.

    The line with the web of destiny making Spider man legitimately less cool, rings so true.
    In DC and Marvel they have done that with a lot of characters, where they are introduced as "yea mutated or whatever, roll with it" just to later give some overarching omnipresent super force to give the character their power.
    Like, the flash... originally, just some guy who was struck by lightning and got super fast. And then they went ahead and invented the "speedforce" which gives him his abilities, cause the lighting gave him some sort of supernatural connection to it... and its like "Right, I liked the guy, cause guy fast, but now I am just bored"

He fought Firelord and Firelord chased him all throughout the city, trying to contact the avengers and fantastic 4 but unable to find them .Finally at one point he blew up a gas station in a massive explosion and is worried he killed Firelord, but Firelord is completely fine. Then as a last ditch effort he gets into a direct fistfight with Firelord, and using his spider-sense to dodge along with his super strength, he manages to knock out Firelord without ever getting hit himself once.
