My favorite spider man moment is when spiderman uses web lines in the sewers to find vibrations in the amazing spider man. I love when spidey is both smart and does bug things
It's a small thing but there's a comic I saw where Peter is just chilling on a lightpole and random Villains keep coming by and get scared cause Peter's not making jokes. The punchline being that He's got a sore throat.
I only learned about the Joe Chill thing because of the way they adapted it for Batman the Brave and Bold. In that show, Joe Chill does tell all of the super villains, he doesn't tell them that it's Bruce Wayne, he just tells them in a panic that he once killed a guy and that guy's son is Batman, and then the Joker, Poison Ivy and a bunch of other Batman villains immediately beat the shit out of him for creating Batman in the first place. The villains don't even care to know who Batman is, their first reaction is "So, you are telling us that Batman existence is YOUR FAULT?!".
That thing with the Flash is actually great, because the guy says he robbed a bank next to the Flash Museum, and everyone else at the table just goes “you WHAT?!”
There is one time where the Avengers are being mind controlled into thinking Spider-Man is being mind controlled. Spider-Man while working to break that mind control proceeds to take down every Avenger including Captain America who apologizes for what he's about to do to Spider-Man and then gets punched in the face.
My favorite Spider-Man moment was a team up that him and The Punisher had where he was knocked out for the duration of the fight. And The Punisher kept using Spider-Man's very durable body to block. All the blows that was coming from a cybernetically enhanced russian assassin.
I think one of the best Spider-Man scenes was when he was with the New Avengers and Logan was badmouthing MJ.... Pete casually (but silently) throws Logan through Stark Tower's shatterproof window while they're on like the top floor.
My favorite spiderman moment has to come from the comics where he just hamds upside down off of Hulk's arm. Then Hulk just says they are friends, that is peak spiderman for me.
My favorite 2 comic panels of Spider-man are when he panics whilst having a duffelbag in his hands for some reason and his response is to trust his instincts, which amounts to him throwing the bag out of the window and going "Instincts bad" and the one where the Green Goblin recognizes Peter's Spider-Man is back (after having been possesed by Doc-ock through some mind swap device) by hearing Spidey quip. The sheer look of terror in Goblin's face is awesome.
If i remember correctly the duffle bag of cash was basically magically stuck to him (if he threw it away or let it go it would teleport back to him) and i think MJ was walking in on him dealing with a bag if magic money
The Superior Spider-Man realisation was hilarious Otto you have seen him bench press shipping containers, and it never occured to you that he might be pulling his punches you really thought you were that tough,
i think there was even a little extra comic where he does a whole day's worth of crime fighting completely silent, and all the criminals are freaking the fuck out... and then someone finally asks him "dude, why aren't you quipping, this is freaky" and Spidey just weakly responds "Oh, sorry, got a sore throat today"
My favorite Spiderman moment is I think from Ultimate Spiderman, when carnage kills Gwen Stacy and Peter blames himself and his superpowers to the extent where he decides to quit being spiderman but 5 seconds later he hears a woman getting mugged and swoops in to beat the muggers up but the whole time hes crying. Showed us that even when he hits rock bottom and convinces himself to give up he just physically can't stop helping people.
15:26 there's an episode of Young Justice with something similar. There's a playdate with a bunch of kids of super heroes and a villain is going to kill all of them. Lady Shiva shows up to stop him and when asked why responds with something like "Look, we know where they live and who their parents are. If we wanted them dead, we'd have done so already but the heroes would ensure M.A.D."
My favorite spider man moment is when cable the time traveler says that Spiderman will be remember as greatest hero, the one that didn't want to space or abandoned his city he stayed there helping the little guy
In recent years, I've come to believe that Martin Sheen is the best version of Uncle Ben, as instead of Ben just being stuck in front of a gunman, the Amazing SM Ben actually tries to disarm a random criminal on the street. Very much on message
My favorite Spider-Man moment is a bit unusual. It was during the Acts of Vengeance storyline, where he got cosmic powers. Just the fact that he kicked the ever loving shit out of powerhouse villains (and heroes) in the Marvel Universe brought me joy. Also, Erik Larsen was really on point, then. Actually, my second favorite might be the opposite. He'd lost his powers, and was just having the worst time because he still couldn't just let bad people do what they want. And just when he was getting jumped by a bootleg Sinister Six, he got his powers back and cleaned house. It was amazing.
My favorite Spider-Man moment will be every single time he stops holding back. From when Octavius punches Scorpion's jaw off, to when he let the black suit take complete control. There is always that moment for the villains to fully take in that they have been playing fire for so long, and the only reason that they have had such a long and successful careers as criminals is because Spider-Man is just a kid with a hard set moral compass. Spider-Man could literally push his pinky finger through your heart and you could do nothing to stop him. He has precognitive abilities, making him nearly impossible to hit at full concentration. No matter how fast you run, he will always be able to find you, land or sky. Those who manage to find Spider-Man at his worst are men damned. And it's moments like these that make me appreciate the character of Spider-Man as a whole. Way too often are characters like Superman or hulk characterized entirely by their strength. If that was Peter's case, then he wouldn't be popular at all, he wouldn't have anything to stand out with. But because he's such a kind and down to earth person, and this is something that has been consistently shown throughout the entirety of his comic lifespan, He is without contest the most well known superhero ever created. Every single punch he throws takes thought and care. Every single hit He takes is a calculation. Spider-Man is not a god trying to be a man, or a man trying to be a god. He just wants to make the world better for everyone.
Favorite Spiderman moment is when Rhino and/or Shocker is robbing a bank and Spiderman shows up but he isn't talking so they just immediately surrender thinking he is sicko mode Spiderman, but it turns out he just had a cold and that's why he wasn't joking around
My favorite moment has the be the “I’m summoning the spiders” bit. Dude is _clever,_ hence all the quips, but if he wanted to he can be utterly terrifying without ever lifting a finger.
I do like in Far From Home and No Way Home when Tom's Spidey just pulls the gloves off when he gets mad, he spends the entire trilogy being a dorky little man and then the second he gets pissed off he becomes a murder machine. Really puts his power in perspective and shows how hard he has to try to stay positive.
My favorite spider man moment is when spider man broke into the most heavily secured prison thats made to hold super villains and just casually walks in with ease and holds kingpin by the skin and beats the living hell out of him with out his suite on in front of every villain to show he aint playing around anymore.
My favorite spider-man moment is a super brief bit of the insomniac games dlc where spider-man successfully interrogates a goon by slowly approaching him without saying a single word.
My favourite is when Spider-Man had to take down the Hulk who already took out the Avengers, so he used a knock knock joke, which made the Hulk chuckle, and reverted back to Banner Regarding punching someone's jaw off, it happened to Scorpion who has higher durability and strength level (usually) than Spider-Man too haha
I like both comics where he beats the piss out of kingpin both humiliating him in the prison infront of everyone or outright killing him while basically saying it was peter not spidey doing showing his wrath and part of his true strength and also any time noir is shown
my fave spiderman moment is when stops a crime and doesnt talk and everyone freaks out cause spiderman isnt making jokes (useally a sign spideys pissed and is gonna mess people up) and when they all get arrested and the cop talks to spidey the cop remarks hes being quiet and spidey replies "sorry, im sick, soar throat "
My favorite is that short comic where spider man isn't making any quips and this scares all of his villains so bad they just give up and at the end it turns out he has a sore throat
One of my favorite spider-man moments is when old man spider-man got shot because he was slowing down in age everyone who were thankful showed up the last to see him Was MJ. When MJ left the room the heart rate monitor went off, but it turns out tha spider-man saw a woman getting mugged. He went out in nothing but a mask and a hospital gown and beat the mugger with the back of the gown open.
After his identity was revealed, Kingpin has Aunt May shot. Spider-Man shows up to his hideout and proceeds to slowly beat the shit out of him while removing his suit piece by piece, and says something to the effect of "Spider-Man doesn't kill, but you better hope she lives, because if she doesn't, it'll be Peter Parker that comes for you."
Spiderman realized he couldn't stop the juggernaut and kept fighting anyway after he killed Madam Web. Similarly he fought Fire Lord not to beat him, but to just delay him till the FF or someone could show up to deal with him as he was totally outclassed. Spiderman doesn't give up even in the face of zero chance of success
My fav Spider-Man moment is when Spider-Man knocked out a "new supervillain" cold and was told by the cops that bank robbers buy toy guns and dress up and they pretend to be supervillains
My favorite Spider-Man scene is that cable car. I’m not even from New York, but that scene encapsulates the entire point of Spider-Man and made me proud of humanity
I absolutely love the one line towards the end of Superior Spider-Man "Except the dignity of knowing I never carried a man-purse" Or, him stopping the train in the second Rami movie.
Favorite SpiderMan moment in the films is the train full of people getting his mask back to him. In the comics my favorite SpiderMan moment is the Kingpin setting a building on fire to get the drop on him. Everything bursts into flames and Kingpin suckerpunches Spidey from behind, makes a quip about how his ability to sense danger can't help when the danger is everywhere, and then he picks up Spidey and throws him into some barrels. SpiderMan points out that fighting inside of a burning building is at least as dangerous for Kingpin as it is for him, but Kingpin just laughs and then something on fire falls from the ceiling and knocks him out so Spidey ends up having to save Kingpin from the burning building.
20:40 I'd say the Watsonian answer is probably something along the lines of "the glider requires specialized skill & agility to effectively use, and that's not practical for a mass produced weapon that needs to be able to be operated by 'any random soldier'" or something like that.
The thing is that the glider it kind of implied that the goblin serum is needed to take advantage of it and they’re working out the serum they’re not unrelated so like if you would just let him finish the goblin serum you’d have the serum that would make your soldiers super strong and able to use the glider. This is even ignoring the fact that I need a new piece of military equipment. You’re gonna have to train your guys on like even if you went with a jet pack you still have to train them. So really it’s just like the guy didn’t like Norman because his tech was far superior was nearly complete and they just need a bit more time to protect the formula.
@@CuppaLLX I'm sorry, you are trying to apply rational logic to a military run by capitalism; Like you are not wrong, but the US has actually cancelled R&D projects in real life because it would be "too difficult/expensive" to train them with it. Part of the whole reason we keep making new guns and then not using them is because the military doesn't want to have to change their training regimen.
I think for the whole glider not being practical is that without someone with super stamina snd strength it's almost impossible to use, in a show or comic they have a normal dude use it and he almost passes out from how exhausting it is to use.
Weird Al even mentions it in his "Ode to a Superhero" song "And he's ridin' around on that glider thing And he's throwin' that weird pumpkin bomb Yes, he's wearin' that dumb Power Rangers mask But he's scarier without it on
20:04 the glider is useless as a vehicle without the superhuman strength and balance needed to stay on it but it does seem like it would do fine as an unmanned drone.
My favorite moment is when "Spider-Man" and "MCU" Spider-Man are trying to boost "Amazing" Spider-Man's confidence. He knows his accomplishments pale in comparison, and that only compounds his already-existing inadequacies and negative feelings. But they know that, as Spider-Man, he's struggling with more responsibility than anyone normally should. It doesn't matter what he did or didn't accomplish because he, like the other two, had to save lives single-handed, every day, when he hasn't yet entered adulthood. In their eyes, their accomplishments are all relative, and they see each other as equals. And they want him to know that.
I imagine that in the canon of dickhead Superman's world, Lex also isn't actually bald, despite believing himself to be, as Superman rushes in and shaves his head at superspeed as well, again just to mess with him.
My favourite Spider-Man moment has to be when Doctor Octopus took over his body, and fought against Scorpion and with a single punch tore his jaw off. That or when he had 100's of tonnes pinning him down, and he had to use all of his strength to get a cure to Aunt May, they kinda copied the scene in Spider-Man Homecoming, when Tom Holland had to lift the rubble off of himself and keeps repeating "Come on Spider-Man" My favourite Marvel character by far.
The Spectacular Spider-Man, where Peter faces the Sinister Six with the symbiote and beats them all with no effort and no quips. When he tries to end it with a car, he is stopped by Captain Stacey and leaves. We learn that Peter was completely unconscious during the fight, the symbiote taking control.
Crazy thing about that time Doc Oct Took over Spiderman's body and accidently punched some ones Jaw off. That Jaw belonged to Scorpion. Scorpion is basically a super solider style powers and was made to be STRONGER than they thought Spiderman was and often armored as well. Scorpion is as strong if not actually stronger than a People like Captain America. And at least as Durable. So in short. Spiderman is not just strong enough to punch some ones Jaw off. He is strong enough to punch the Jaw off Super soldiers and even super powered people. He could kill a mortal man in one decent hit easy. Also fav spiderman moment is most likely the end of the PS4 game with Aunt May. Really summed up Spiderman as a whole for me. Doing the right thing sucks. It hurts and it can make you loose what you love. But He still does it.
also, the only reason that it was just Scorpion's jaw that got fucked up is because Ock was aiming for the one place he isn't armoured if Scorpion had somewhere ELSE unarmoured, THAT would have been fucked
Karl, they fixed the sound issue that was in the initial theater run of Across the Spider-Verse, so ya did right by waiting. Aside from the sound issue, it was a really good movie
My favorite savage spider man moment is when the kingpin puts aunt may in the hospital and Peter, but spider, pulls up and turns that fat, salacious, Italian fozzy bear hippo mf into his literal and metaphorical b*tch. In front of every man who ever respected him. THATS power.
There is a great fanfic called 'Lex marks the spot' in which a rumour is stated that the reason The Flash's rogues gallery are relatively less lethal than elsewhere in DC because any criminal who takes a life in his city ceases to exist because Flash goes back in time and messes with events just enough to prevent thier conception. This concept terrifies and creeps out everyone heroes and villins alike, including Flash. All hail Dogbertcarroll. Master of Fanfiction awesomeness
My favorite spiderman moment is from back in black when he breaks into the prison to confront kingpin, and kingpin mocks him like "you won't kill me, spiderman doesn't kill" to which parker takes off his mask and just says, "spiderman didn't come" and beat fisk within an inch of his life in front of everyone, then tells him that the second aunt May dies he's coming back to end fisk for good.
Tom Holland and the other actors on that film talked about how Defoe really changed as the GG. I think Jaime Foxx said that he kept forgetting he was on a set, he was five years old again, wanting pop corn, watching Defoe's GG debut
12:32 random ass legacy of kain reference, but absolute respect. Yall should do a video (or a few) on the legacy of kain series, the series deserves love, a real forgotten gem
That's one of he things I love about the MCU Spiderman. Yes all of theSpidermen are strong af and have their moments, but MCU Spiderman just has more moments that makes you go 'yeah these people have superstrength'
My personal favorite moment is Back in Black where Peter shows up and folds Kingpin in half just to prove that he can do it at any time and to not mess with him
My favorite moment is when Spider-Man breaks into Daredevils apartment and using his radar daredevil says how powerful Spider-Man is and doesn’t know it and that he’s the best of them all
i think my biggest issue with toms spidy is they not only skipped the uncle ben part but they acted like it just didnt happen, stretched his origin accross 3 movies and then uncle benned aunt may anyway so what was the point of it all
My favorite Spider-Man moment. It's when an assassin's shoots aunt May and Spider-Man loses it when he finds out. Kingpin was behind it and visits him in jail and utterly beats the poop out of him.
The third Raimi movie hit me as such a disappointment at the time because I had been wanting Venom since the first movie, and the fact that the movie was bad because a produced forced them to shoehorn Venom in just killed me.
It's hard to pick one favorite Spider-man moment, but Edge of Time has a few. Like when Peter convinced Miguel to save MJ, and the end credits where they were bickering over quantum theory and grammar.
I remember that in Spider-Man PS4 each costume had a power, and i chose the Noir costume that had stealth powers. I thought it was a passive thing, like you were always stealthy and the enemies wouldn't notice you, but the enemies noticed me, so I thought I had to commit to the stealth, I had to be actively stealthy and then the costume would have made me even stealthier. Turns out at the end of the game I found out you had to press a button to activate the power. This is one of the many Okuyasu level intelligence moments in my gaming life.
i think my favourite spider man moment is in across the Spider Verse with Spider Punk were Hobie just peaces out. I think hes probably one of the most memorable parts of the movie. I get people have a thing for vampire spoider but I am firmly in the camp of people who love seeing Hobie interacting with the spider people. It probably is also partially because I'm british and partly because his attitude in the movie goes on to cause one of my favourite marvel memes "Spider-punk being british." My favourite Peter Parker spiderman moment is probably when he catches Captain Americas shield in civil war but thats because of the meme were the shield is a pizza also they edit Tobey Maguire's face onto Spiderman. "Civil War - Pizza Time." I haven't read much of him in the comics but I do like the moment in The Young Avengers Children's Crusade I believe. Cap is complaining about the kids after a headline in the newspaper shows they still fighting people and after a back and forth Cap goes to call the kids' parents and Spider man basically goes "Cap don't snitch, come on."
My Favorite "Spider-Man" moment is really a Peter Parker Moment After Aunt May is accidentally hit by a bullet meant for him Spider-Man goes to the raft strips his costume off and beats the snot out of Kingpin (the man who hired the hitman) then holds kingpins mouth open and threatened him with drowning him with web fluid
First.
This sent my sides into orbit in a way no single word should be capable of doing 😂😂😂
My favorite spider man moment is when spiderman uses web lines in the sewers to find vibrations in the amazing spider man. I love when spidey is both smart and does bug things
true that was a well made moment that showed off his intellect and "natural" ability
☝️🤓well actually spiders aren’t bugs they’re arachnids

"Spiderman, this is an active crisis." "It's important for crises to stay active. Otherwise they might get flabby and out of breath."

I love the moment when peter parker absolutely decimated kingpin in a jail with no mask on so everyone in the jail knew not to mess with him...
I like that time when Spiderman scared some criminals by convincing them he was summoning a swarm of spiders.

Picks him up by his shirt, except it wasn't a shirt, it was kingpins skin.

I think for the whole glider not being practical is that without someone with super stamina snd strength it's almost impossible to use, in a show or comic they have a normal dude use it and he almost passes out from how exhausting it is to use.
It's obviously spiderman chasing shocker to the ends of the earth
He can’t get away from him
Weird Al even mentions it in his "Ode to a Superhero" song
"And he's ridin' around on that glider thing
And he's throwin' that weird pumpkin bomb
Yes, he's wearin' that dumb Power Rangers mask
But he's scarier without it on
My favorite spider man moment is when the goblin tries to recruit him, that speech is just amazing and bone chilling with how its delivered
"SHOCKERRR!!!!!! I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!!!"
Favorite Spider-Man moment? When Peter and Mary Jane got married in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21 (1987)
16:34 hes talking about Kingdom Come, in this future, Central City is guarded by Wally West ajd is luterally omnipresent
Dafoe in Shadow of the Vampire shows you how little makeup he really needed to be the goblin
That or when he had 100's of tonnes pinning him down, and he had to use all of his strength to get a cure to Aunt May, they kinda copied the scene in Spider-Man Homecoming, when Tom Holland had to lift the rubble off of himself and keeps repeating "Come on Spider-Man"
My favourite Marvel character by far.
But He still does it.
also, the only reason that it was just Scorpion's jaw that got fucked up is because Ock was aiming for the one place he isn't armoured
if Scorpion had somewhere ELSE unarmoured, THAT would have been fucked
Never forget joey diaz being in the ramey verse and i was to young to know the legend of a comeo i didnt get
Everyone forgets that part of the Spider-Man package is that he has the proportionate strength and agility of a Spider.
One of my favorite Spider-Man moments is in The Amazing Spider-Man where he crawls on the lizard like he’s an actual spider
I miss the old format where stuff came in as PNGs and became a cluttered mess with all the asides the conversation took. ; w ;
Karl, they fixed the sound issue that was in the initial theater run of Across the Spider-Verse, so ya did right by waiting. Aside from the sound issue, it was a really good movie
Superman works for the Daily Planet, not the Daily Bugle
My favorite savage spider man moment is when the kingpin puts aunt may in the hospital and Peter, but spider, pulls up and turns that fat, salacious, Italian fozzy bear hippo mf into his literal and metaphorical b*tch. In front of every man who ever respected him. THATS power.
my favourite green goblin moment is when he blows up aunt may's place whiles she's praying and he makes her say 'deliver us from evilll!'
Of the videos of kids being bullied fighting back, none was more famous than the Zangief Kid.
0:18 when spider-man goes to Vegas and meets Joe Fix-It and gets a free room and everything 😂
Hail.
My favorite spiderman moment is when Peter convinced villains he could summon a horde of spiders and the dudes gave up immediately.
I died qt the last bit 😂 Karl's face with the "Pizza Time!" lmaoo
If Spider-Man can do that, how many people did Batman scare to death?
12:32 random ass legacy of kain reference, but absolute respect. Yall should do a video (or a few) on the legacy of kain series, the series deserves love, a real forgotten gem
Ok, so one of my favorite things that green goblin doesb in spider man no way home. Is when he slams tom holand through the floors
That's one of he things I love about the MCU Spiderman.
Yes all of theSpidermen are strong af and have their moments, but MCU Spiderman just has more moments that makes you go 'yeah these people have superstrength'
17:30 "It was ME Barry..."
17:23 they had fun with this in _Superman: Red Son_, people in Superman's territory stopped wearing seat belts because he was just always there
Most blokes in the army will finish at 10:00 on a Friday and go spoons to get pissed btw
My personal favorite moment is Back in Black where Peter shows up and folds Kingpin in half just to prove that he can do it at any time and to not mess with him
Now I want a Green Goblin skate pro game
My favorite Spiderman moment with his Spidersense powers has to be him keeping the magic cube from Doc Strange in No way home.
The third Raimi movie hit me as such a disappointment at the time because I had been wanting Venom since the first movie, and the fact that the movie was bad because a produced forced them to shoehorn Venom in just killed me.
My favorite Spiderman moment is when he confronted Kingpin in prison and makes a deadly promise after handing his @ss in front of all the prisoners.
I love this channel man!
yeah the "whats up danger" scene is 🔥
Due to the meme and spiderman 2 mini game on xbox and ps2. If Toby Maguire walked in saying pizza time. 50/50 I hit him or fuck hi
When Spidey effectively tortures a car thief whilst making quips in The Amazing Spider-Man
It's hard to pick one favorite Spider-man moment, but Edge of Time has a few.
Spider-Man, Hulk and Captain America are all survivors of different experiments involving the super soldier serum .
I like when he scares off a criminal by saying he's summoning the spiders
Got 2 "That's a cute outfit, did your husband give it to you?"
"the human spider"...
"oh, that sucks!" 😂
My favorite Spiderman moment is probably the pizza delivery missions in spiderman 2
My favorite Spiderman moment is when he hangs out with wolverine for his birthday
My favorite Spider-Man moment is either when he nearly beat Kingpin ti death or beat Iron Man with his bare hands and webs
i think my favourite spider man moment is in across the Spider Verse with Spider Punk were Hobie just peaces out. I think hes probably one of the most memorable parts of the movie. I get people have a thing for vampire spoider but I am firmly in the camp of people who love seeing Hobie interacting with the spider people. It probably is also partially because I'm british and partly because his attitude in the movie goes on to cause one of my favourite marvel memes "Spider-punk being british."
My favourite Peter Parker spiderman moment is probably when he catches Captain Americas shield in civil war but thats because of the meme were the shield is a pizza also they edit Tobey Maguire's face onto Spiderman. "Civil War - Pizza Time."
I haven't read much of him in the comics but I do like the moment in The Young Avengers Children's Crusade I believe.
Best boss I had, would show up to the jobsite at noon on Friday with beer and hamburgers.
SHOCKER!!
You forgot the superior woman for Peter’s affection Mageina Tovah as Ursula Ditkovich. She bakes cookies and always has a nice glass of milk.
