You are doing just fine sweetie. Conversation and having company are nice but there is a lot to be said for solitude. On my first thru hike of the A.T. I had to go out of my way just to spend two nights alone and it was incredible. Do what YOU want to do and stay happy. If it ain't fun, why do it? Hike safe, Hike strong, Have fun! geek
The whole "you should *this" or "you should *that" think really sticks in my craw. You get that a lot as an artist, too--ppl thinking they know better than you how to be you! Lawl! 😂
The pace is the first priority to me over every other consideration. It would be fun to run into others that happen to match that pace, but it's never happened for me.

You could be lonely in a crowd of people. And be totally content by yourself. I like to be totally content by myself and his people just happened to come along that's fine.
Jenny has done the Hadrian's Wall trail and the West Highland Way. Much better the South West Coastal Path or the shorter Cotswold Way. Nice and soft Southern England, especially after the AT.
I wonder if I could make videos like this. I guess you don’t write a script but just extemporaneously riff on the whole experience? I wonder if the video editing could be offloaded to someone in India pretty cheaply?

You'll get to bag some more in Maine too. With VT already done you'll be close to completing the NE67. (but you already knew that... 😊)

@@jonbaumgardner no scripts when I’m out there hiking! Haven’t looked into outsourcing but I enjoy having the control of editing them myself.
