John is kinda the leader of this project, and he decided to take the boards to a glasser... I think just because he didn't want us to mess it up. Sounded like Frank wanted to glass the boards ourselves too.

Whats size of the board? The tail measures from edge to edge?
Length is 5'4", at the very end of the tail is about 13.5"

You should draw da template on the da bottom of da board and cut da outline from da nose to tail, and work your way shaping from da bottom before shaping da deck and blending da rails, most obvious reason for dis would be dat da hardest foam is at da outside of da foam and so you want da foam to be at its most dense on da deck where it would encounter da most stress when you doin da surfing by standing upon the deck hangin 10 n other goofy shit surfers do. Den also you may have done dis and not filmed dis but a “shapers square” measuring tool should always be utilized especially at da templating part and pretty much through the entire ritualistic shaping processes as to make sure da shit is symmetrical cuz I noticed da tail when you finished shaping had one side all fucked up compared to da other, could have been da angle you were filming at but just on first appearances I woulda said fuck dat shit! And tried to true up da fucked up side without compromising da other, a simply laid out shapers square tool would’ve at least been able to gauge how fucked up or non fucked up da board is on one hemisphere to da other, also Dey useful for drawing your fin marks as you i failed to notice you drawing one yourself as yo glasser gna ask you da same question on wheather u makin dis fish a single, twinnie fin, quad thruster or da 5 fin option for da fish, and for the love of god don’t hold the board with your hands when another person is using the electric planer use a fuckin brick to weigh it down so you don’t shape someone’s hand off cuz then the city would start putting up restrictions on backyard surfboard manufacturing due to the careless hazards a situation like dat would create! Plus some other dumbass kid may watch this thinking it’s a good idea to do it that way. Anywho Hope it’s the first of many boards you shape! Swaylocks.com can give you some helpful tips as well as well as all da criticism you will ever need, as this video is worthy of criticism based off safety protocol alone, since the shaping methods differ from human to human, different strokes for da different folks. N most importantly always Have da fun! But don’t shape your buddies hand off w da electric planer dat would be gay!
