One can and should praise every single member of this band. BUT today I like to praise especially Kanade because she is in a way standing out of all these amazingly talented Japanese female drummers: When you see and hear her in Muses (or any other jazz/funk event) you notice that she is a formidable jazz-drummer. And when you see and hear her with KOIAI you notice that she is a beast of a rock and metal-drummer. So Kanade is really amazing - but we all know that for many years for sure!
Watching Muses is a complete visual and aural feast. Individually you're all exceptional players and together you're tight and exciting 🎉 I love what you're doing and hope that you'll be filling Japan's big arenas soon 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤
My guess it is the sound recording that got different - it is sometimes an underrated work the sound tech guys performs and make a significant effect on the output. But yes Rie's guitar sound usually are more strong or how to express it.
I noticed a difference in her tone as well. My guess is that she chose this tone for this song, because the recording seems fine. Plus these girls, with their experience and talent, just don’t let things slip by they don’t want.
