Like the guy before me said, rock and metal take all who wanna jam out. As a fan of nu metal as a kid it felt like the people keeping me out of rock and putting me down were the blacks around me
That's what I like about the metal community: we never cared about color or race. As long as you enjoy the music and respect each other, all are welcome. None of that east coast - west coast bullshit.
I heard about these guy in 2006. I'm 37. Hey check out The Danny waysted RUclips channel. Tons of 80 bands you've never heard of. Also type into RUclips, Defcon band great album
We need to stand up and fight against our freedoms being taken away, as the song says there is strength in numbers! Though I'm over the pond, so I'm gonna rock England!
Heres a cool story: Im 17 and i work at cicis pizza. being a friday, it was super busy and i was pissed. my boss walks up to me and just says "fun fun fun" not referring to the beach boys or any song for that matter. this song INSTANTLY popped into my head and i felt a million times better! long live Danger Danger.
ROCK AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get why this was never a hit. It's not a bad song. It's not even that derivative. This is like a good Journey song. It's like Be Good To Yourself only metal. It's got that passion and feel-good energy. This is what I look for in a song. I just wish there were more songs like this and like Under the Gun on their albums... I don't understand why these weren't the singles. They're the only two songs on their first album that really stand out.
Man this band is the greatest band ever! Can't believe that they are recording a new studio album :P Gonna have to get that album right away when it's released. Rock America has always been a emotionupgrader for me, great party anthem song! Danger Danger, god they ain't no stranger!!!
KICK ASS FIVE STAR PERFORMANCE ! ITS REALLY WELL DONE INDEED IMHO ! THANKS GUYS , SEE YA ITS ME YUP OLE ALZ /NYC , AT 46 NOW I GREW UP AND AROUND ALOT OF KILLER BANDS ! THESE GUYS ROCKED OUT ! I WAS THERE LIVE N.C. W./ENIFF Z NUFF R.I.P.DERICK FRIGO ! MISSED MAN , THE WHOLE PARTY WAS INSANE , I LIVED IT UP AND LIVE I ALWAYS LOVED THE DANGER DANGER SHOWS I SAW LIKE 10 PLUS ? WHO REMBERS ? THE CLUBS , CABS ,DRUNKSAND SLUTS ! IT RULED ,I REMEMBER IT LIKE YESTERDAY SORTA HA HA WE HAD IT ALL
Sadly this music didn’t survive cause the birth of Grunge music was soon to born and all that glam metal AOR rock was soon to be history for the 80s .. Sad but the 90s did have some great artists like Alice in Chains etc
Oddly enough when I became a fan of Backstreet Boys (don't hit or throw objects please!) the opening lyrics to this would pop into my head at times.....
This band always puzzled me... They did terrible, down-tempo, minor key sleaze like "Naughty Naughty"; then they did awesome, up-tempo, Bon Jovi/Springsteen style rockers like this song. They really needed to make up their minds. I saw them headlining in a small venue in Michigan during their prime and I really think if they had stuck to songs like this, they would've become bigger than they did.
As a black guy who grew up in Brooklyn being the only kid on my block who listened to rock and metal, this song speaks to my soul.
Vivo en sud america ... el rock y metal no tiene fronteras ...ni edad.... ni color...saludos
Like the guy before me said, rock and metal take all who wanna jam out. As a fan of nu metal as a kid it felt like the people keeping me out of rock and putting me down were the blacks around me
Hell yeah! U rock buddy! Don't let anyone tell u what u can and can't listen to.
That's what I like about the metal community: we never cared about color or race. As long as you enjoy the music and respect each other, all are welcome. None of that east coast - west coast bullshit.
one of the most underated 80's glam bands of all time !!!!!!!!!
Couldn’t have said it any better myself, thanks Ted
