These guys and slaughter barely got their hits in before the end of the 80s. Now here in 92 the curtain had fallen for metal in the States, but Japan still was in the 80s phase, and had not made the fatal transition to grunge yet. The last gasp of the 80s is right here, by 1993 it was out globally.
This rocks! Actually Í bought myself a small home studio with keyboards, guitars and everything, with a dream of having these 80s glam days to return. For real. No more of that "this sound like the 80s" and then it doesnt - i promise - i will try for my part to bring those days and that sound! See ya guys!
Great Andy Timmons, Just few seconds before solo one string of guitar break, he goes on with solo keepin the notes in tune, thats the reason why in the midle of the song running to change guitar, great master and professional demonstration 🤟
Loved these guys in 1989-91, forgot about them and just discovered this. They're one 80s band I'd have thought sucked live, but am IMPRESSED! Very good live chops!
Bang bang! It was a warm night on the south side of town They said they'd seen you You were sneakin' around with a stranger Girl, these rumors are drivin' me mad All my good friends turn their face to the wall When they see me What the hell's goin' on? Am I so blind That I can't see when I'm being had? I know it's silly, but, girl, I really Thought we had a chance I must've been crazy! Chorus: Bang bang, what's that sound? I gave you my love and you shot me down Bang bang, you're so cool Playin' a game, someday you're gonna lose Bang bang! Girl, you told me you were not like the rest Then you showed me, now you're failing your test It was easy, just an urge in the heat of the night I believed you, now that's all in the past 'Cause I made some mistakes, but I'm learnin' fast Never put your heart on the line Never put your heart on the line I know it's silly, but, girl, I really Thought we had a chance I must've been crazy! Bang bang, what's that sound? I gave you my love and you shot me down Bang bang, you're so cool Playin' a game, someday you're gonna lose Bang bang, what's that sound? You shot me down (shot me down) Bang bang!
Great Band, Ted Poley and the guys rock....they did and still do. I've got all the albums including Paul Laine, but like Ted most. Veeeery underrated band....
I saw Danger Danger along with Slaughter in July 1990 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. They opened for KISS on the Hot in the Shade tour. I don't know how many shows that they did with KISS, though. Slaughter was with them on the whole tour.
Check the other videos of this same tour but previously! Between the other tour and this one he skyrocketed the songs!!!! I haven´t seen anyone done this that much and so little time!!
i saw them live. the drummer plays to a click live to make they line up perfectly. there is no way they don't unless they have more than 5 guys singing that i don't see on stage. the are layered upon layered. at leaast they were in 1989 opening for Faster Pussycat in Philly.
Of all the videos that are of Danger Danger playing in Japan in 1992, what is the continuity of them? Which is the first video, the second one, until the last one?
changing the words would of made no difference. it is what it is. a 80's hair metal song.like cherry pie, dr feelgood, look what the cat dragged in, etc...thats what made them fun.you couldn't be to drunk, to stoned, to rich, have to much hair, or get laid to often in the eighties.LONG LIVE HAIR METAL.
I think they should've changed the words from, "Bang, Bang - you're so cool" to "Bang, Bang - you're so cruel." It would've been a little less cheesey.

I always thought Ted Poley was an underrated singer
Ted Poley is fabulous. A cross between Bret Michaels and Jani Lane. Rocking this crowd and grabbing numbers from them and they dont even speak English
I am 58 years old
I am 54 you old fart.

I listen to danger danger since the eighties and they are ro😢gods and I wish they weren’t married and they are the sexiest guys
Great Andy Timmons, Just few seconds before solo one string of guitar break, he goes on with solo keepin the notes in tune, thats the reason why in the midle of the song running to change guitar, great master and professional demonstration 🤟
Far out just discovered this awesome song/band! Why they didnt make it big time beats me!
They were just like 5-10 years late. Definitely would've been much bigger if so 🤟🤟
If Danger Danger and Roxy Blue had both come out 5 years earlier, they both would have been huge.
@@retropyrosame with FireHouse

Steve West is quite the solid drummer. This song remindes me of 7th grade! 89/90
Haven't heard these guys in years, used to really like them
Great Band, Ted Poley and the guys rock....they did and still do. I've got all the albums including Paul Laine, but like Ted most.

I can’t believe this is the same dude that did the song City Escape in Sonic Adventure 2 for the Sega Dreamcast.

The singers name is Ted Poley
Qué tierna la interacción entre el publico y Ted con las gafas 😂😂😂
Even though this live - this still doesn't accurately how much heavier they sounded live.

I really wonder why Western hair metal bands are so popular in Japan.
As cheesie as it gets, awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

ANDY TIMMONS THE BEST GUITAR BY DANGER DANGER
I've made some mistakes but I'm learning fast
I wonder why he switched guitars right after the solo? Out of tune probably. No one catches stuff like that but me. Oh well
true, although Rob Marcello does a good job too!
Bang Bang me, Ted :D
you are?
is it me or does Mr.Poley look like the lead singer from Warrant.. I mean a littlebit..
The singer thinks it’s 1988 & he’s Bret Michaels in a Poison video… 😆
#cheese
I think they should've changed the words from, "Bang, Bang - you're so cool" to "Bang, Bang - you're so cruel." It would've been a little less cheesey.
