- it is happening, and I am so excited for it. we are encouraged to limit our social media not just everyday, but especially during the process of getting baptized. which is why I will not be vlogging while we are going through the process, but I will create a video about the process of getting baptized.

Joyous time being baptized. I was an infant when I was baptized, confirmation is was done in middle school that high school but I got sick. I did it as an adult in the Catholic Church and it was beautiful and my continued walk with Jesus has been awesome I learn something new every single day. Enjoy your walk and enjoy being baptized. I love your videos! Very interesting to see some of the women’s duties! I spend a lot of time on Hutterite colonies with my work. I come unclog sewer mains on lots of Manitoba colonies with my company’s hydro jet truck. I’ve made some great friends from numerous colonies. Westrock, Waldheim, James Valley, Airport the list goes on and on. Always look forward to going to do a job on the colony especially if it’s near lunch 😂. The food is always amazing and the people are always very friendly!
I want to take the opportunity to thank you for being there with all your peaceful content in a time that is not getting less challenging. I hope your community knows about the extent of your positive influence on so many.

I believe in God, but not a believer in organized religion. Raised a Catholic with numerous rituals and hypercritical followers I have pulled away from church. I do however admire people who have a strong connection to God. Bless you for your genuine love and belief. I was baptized as an infant and wish it come later in life. That is why Catholics have confirmation. When you and not your parents make that decision to grow in your faith.

I love how you gather together to share questions and answers as a community as part of the baptism process. I have often emphasized in my congregation that baptism is someone committing to walk with the Lord and acknowledging that they cannot do it on their own. The church has a major role in helping them.

I am of course happy for you that you are pursuing baptism as I know that is an important milestone in your life as a Hutterite, but I fear this may be a bittersweet moment for us as viewers of your vlogs (which I love and so look forward to). I am hoping I am wrong, but does baptism bring a change in the activities and worldly engagements one is allowed? I may be making a big leap in assumptions as I am basing my question off some of my reading about Amish baptism and their need to give up worldly things after baptism. I know you will probably address this in a later video, but I am curious if your daily life will change?
