The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is a 210 kilometre long, 12&6 lane access-controlled expressway, which will connect Delhi with Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.

The Delhi Dehradun expressway Phase 2 is a green field project which covers 118 km distance from EPE Junction and Ganeshpur near the Saharanpur Bypass.
However, to provide easy access to the nearby communities, the second phase of the expressway will have an additional two lanes and four interchanges.
Moreover, the administration has also planned to construct 60 underpasses to facilitate traffic flow further. NHAI also intends to build some convenience facilities every 25 kms, such as a rest station or hotel for the benefit of motorists.
Once it operational, it will reduce the travel time between two cities to 2.5hrs from the current 5-6hrs.
The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is also called The Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun Expressway.
This Expressway constructed on two states and one UT- Delhi [UT], Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and crossed on several cities including Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli and Sharanpur.
The advantages of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway will be improved tourism in Delhi, Dehradun and other locations connected with this Expressway.
The expressway isn’t just about reduced travel time, but it is also about the residential and commercial developments taking place near this expressway. The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is giving way to many real estate projects around the area. The easy connectivity of this expressway has instigated many real estate developers to come up with their apartments and plots around the expressway.
This project is being constructed in total 4 phases,
Phase A - Delhi to Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE)
Phase B - EPE to Saharanpur
Phase C - Saharanpur to Rajaji National Park
Phase D - Rajaji National Park to Dehradun
The top speed allowed on the expressway will be 100 km per hour.
