Evie is the 5th person I have watched Breaking Bad with and her take on Walter's reaction at the end was original. Very interesting and enjoyable reaction. Thank you for sharing your time.

The reason that Walt freaks out and thrashes the towel dispenser at the end of the episode is specifically because of the "good news" he wasn't expecting. At this point in the show, Walt's guilt is starting to weigh on him quite heavily; hence his confession to Jesse about how he deserves punishment for his lies.
For Walt, an accelerated death means he won't ever have to face his family knowing of his sins. In that sense, he WANTS to die. This is why Walt privately experienced the "good news" of his remission as bad news instead. It means he is condemned to live and face the consequences of his crimes and deception.
As Skyler suggests early in the episode, Walter errs in not properly preparing for the possibility that he might NOT die from the cancer. What kind of man will he become if he lives to continue his current path?

Exactly and plus now he will have to go back to his "boring life" after having some "excitement" which deep down he enjoyed.

This is one of my favorite episodes of this show. Walt and Jesse's relationship really starts to come together.

It's obviously ambiguous, but personally the way I interpret Walt hitting the thing is the following:
    1. He started cooking meth, did all this illegal activity, caused difficulties with Skyler and he thought in the end it would all be worth it because he'd give his money over and just die. And he wouldn't have to spend his life on the run from the cops, he wouldn't have to deal with the fallout in his family, etc. But the idea that he might actually live to experience the consequences of his actions is really bad for him. He didn't want to have to deal with the consequences.
    2. Being on death's door gave him freedom. He had the feeling that he could do anything. He was always anxious before and didn't dare to live his life, but dying gave him new purpose. Now that he's going to live, he doesn't have that anymore. And he doesn't want to go back to how things were before.

_"All that sugar is not good for the cancer."_ I had to check the research on this - I actually didn't know that there is at least one study that reported a direct link between sugar and cancer! See, watching reaction vids can be educational! 😁 This show is strange - it makes us feel genuinely happy when the characters produce an inordinately large amount of meth. 🤔 This episode is definitely one of the really good ones, with great acting by Bryan Cranston and (perhaps in particular) Aaron Paul! Thanks for the reaction!

that study is like saying that sugar can cause diabetes. we understand there is a link but we cant calculate its effects and proportions on individual parameters. Is also like saying that 90% of all drinkable water in cities contain asbestos.

Lol in Jesse's defense he didn't know Walt had a fire extinguisher on the Rv lol i am sure at some point Walt had mentioned it during the loading the safety list on the RV but that was a while ago and knowing Jesse he probably wasn't paying attention at the time so there for he really didn't know lol

Didn't Jesse buy everything (based on a list Walt provided)? Except, I guess, for a few key things Walt took from the school.

@@bigdream_dreambig Yes he had the list for all the stuff and the methylamine but a fire extinguisher wasn't on the list I think that is something that Walt brought from his house or something remember he wanted an eye wash station and safety equipment. But I am just assuming I know fire extinguisher was never mentioned on the list

Good guess but it's about how he has altered the path of his life. He has broke bad. He killed a guy and a half. he is now a meth cook. Things he would not have done if he was going to live.
