Home lander is a cool character I agree, and his impact on the series is immense. But he is an antagonist. I love his character so much though you’re so right we’ll see what happens I predict he’ll sacrifice himself to satisfy the audience and remain loved or go full psychopath and end up having to be killed

In real llife, I can pitty the worst of the worst, even serial killers, because I know, that the evil they do, basically always stems from something done to them, when they were young. But Homelander? He actually has all the powers other abused-as-a-child-narcissists dream of, but he STILL doesn't see, that there is no reason to be afraid, there is no reason to feel small and abused, that he can be feel good about himself and use his powers for good and for good only. Also he killed Black Noir and that is nothing for me to never forgive him. I don't know how and I don't know when, but I want to see him punished for all the evil he did. I don't even want him to be killed. I want all his powers to be stripped from him and then him to be put in a fucking supermax prison cell for the rest of his life...

And watching this video, pangs of embarrassment how (verbally) hateful and agressive I was...ironically enough especially to my most patient and understanding of friends. I just had so little patience in high school for people and what I often considered 'petty bullsh*t'. The only hatred I have now is for any moment of impatience or hatred I still (can) feel and try to nip that stuff in the bud, both are terrible emotions to be ruled by.
