  • What is Lion`s mane jellyfish?
The lion's mane jellyfish, also known as the giant jellyfish, arctic red jellyfish, or the hair jelly, is one of the largest known species of jellyfish. Its range is confined to cold, boreal waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic, and northern Pacific Oceans
    Is Lion`s mane is poisonous?
Like many jellyfish, lion's mane jellyfish have long tentacles that they use for protection and to obtain food. These tentacles can sting, and that sting is painful to humans. While the sting of a lion's mane jellyfish isn't poisonous, it can cause severe allergic reactions in some people. So better to avoid this jellyfish.
