Don't forget guys a lot of the pros that use Bauer sticks are usually using older builds. For example, a large portion of them use the 2N Pro XL. You don't need the newest, flashy stick that cost $350.
Especially considering almost all top end sticks are NOT durable. You will definitely go through 1 at least every 6-8 weeks if you play 3-4 times per week. And if ur playing at a high level that will be even more often than that.
I'm super happy I've been playing hockey for about two years now and I only had 45 dollar Fischer sticks but today I got the trigger 7 pro and I love it makes a huge difference in my play
I’m not upgrading from my Sync, he ranked it higher when he couldn’t see what it was because he always recommends the newest most expensive stick even though the old one might be just as good.
I was at a hockey store near me and they had this. I got a chance to look and pick it up. Super light stick and I really love the design. Unfortunately didn’t get to buy it but I think this stick is gonna be a favorite for sure!
I have been watching your reviews for a year now and I find them really informative. I have the older version of this new Nexus Tracer and I am trying to decide whether to upgrade or not. In this review, you do a blind trial of three sticks, the Tracer, the Sync (which is what I have) and the Havoc. When you took shots during the blind trial, you ranked the Sync higher than the Tracer. However, after unwrapping the sticks and including a ranking for looks, the Tracer came out on top. If the looks and the graphics are less important to me, should I still upgrade to this newer model?
Thank you! My best suggestion would be to test both of the sticks out before deciding if possible. Aside from the graphic change the Tracer is also lighter than the sync so if weight is a big factor for you when buying a stick maybe consider the upgrade!
nice review . the original Bauer total one pro from many years ago was the hardest shooting stick ever in my opinion still have never felt that kind of power again -
I bought one for my son after his Sync broke. Its literally identical in every way. cross section of the shaft, blade, everything. The only difference was the price. A junior tracer was $139, the sync when i could buy it was $159. So $20 less for the same stick and different graphics.
Bauers sync line looks so great but every review I’ve seen says something along the lines of “great stick, breaks in 3 seconds.” I hope this new stick has better durability
Guys get the kyc stealth pro this stick is amazing but unheard of. I have the tracer and trigger 9 pro kyc come on top. Tracers blade went soft but it’s better than the trigger 9 pro but all of them are great and kyc is way cheaper and is only 335 grams
It’s definitely not going to be for everyone but playing defence I find it’s amazing for puck handling and pass accuracy for me personally. I’ve used the er spine since the geo and I can’t go back to regular shafts now.
Hi i had a sync i was going to shop bauer and i tried tracer and sync and proto r my ranking was 1.proto r 3.tracer. 2.sync If you want stick from nexus I would suggest buying sync but it’s my opinion But why? How did u break ur ft7 pro? I have had one since launch and have abused the crap out of it with many AAA scrimmage and summer high-school scrimmages and it still feels like brand new. It's graphics are chipped to he'll but the stick is still very much here to stay
"Should you upgrade?" Bauer gives you no choice but to "upgrade." They discontinue their sticks often and force you to buy their new crap. I can't believe they discontinued the SYNC line for this Tracer line. Unbelievable...

That's awesome! The Trigger 7 Pro is a great stick.

Calm down
@@LanesPlaysHockey Stick technology can only advance so much year by year. If you go back 3 years and compare it to this model it be nearly identical.
@@westhawks I know that but its still a better stick so why not get it
@@LanesPlaysHockey because sticks are freaking expensive, are you telling me you have the money to spend $400 every season on a stick?

It will definitely be a popular stick! 👍
I got it a few days ago it’s great

The e5pro from last generation is even a better stick than SYNC
I have a question... Do you prefer the jetspeed ft7 pro or the Bauer Nexus tracer?
I think I might lean towards the Tracer but its really close... both are awesome
nice review . the original Bauer total one pro from many years ago was the hardest shooting stick ever in my opinion still have never felt that kind of power again -
Thanks! The Total One was awesome I used to have one as well.
Tracer or trigger 9 pro?
Just bought it! So excited to use it😊
Hope you like it!

Only the youth 20flex is that price. Then jump up in price with 30,40,50 flex. Sync never came in 20 flex
Bauers sync line looks so great but every review I’ve seen says something along the lines of “great stick, breaks in 3 seconds.” I hope this new stick has better durability
$340 sticks and durability don’t go together
I swear every stick review says it breaks in 3 seconds
Do you think the proto or tracer is better?
Proto
you'll have to come by our store and test them both out!
Is it better than QR6 pro
its a tie
If only they would get rid of the Er spine :(
Dual kick point?
Mid kick! 👍

A title worthy of all true power bottoms.
Can we get a super Novium review
My tracer arrives on monday, so excited! 😊
Yo that's awesome!
You need to work on your stick handling lmao
I hate the Er spine but it looks insane!!!
Try it, it may grow on you!
I agree. Er spine needs to go. No one in the NHL uses them they’re just wrapped with Nexus graphics
It’s definitely not going to be for everyone but playing defence I find it’s amazing for puck handling and pass accuracy for me personally. I’ve used the er spine since the geo and I can’t go back to regular shafts now.

I’m thinking of getting the Mach skates
Machs are fire!
Everyone keeps saying they “upgraded the kick point” but how…?
Holy sniper
😎
Shot the best with the third stick but picked at the worst stick?!?
The shots on the havoc looked hella powerful and very consistent, But I guess weight preference won him over.
Got a custom one
Nice! what color?
I bought it and I have much more harder shot than with Sync. Anyway puck control is the same as with sync.
it definitely shoots really well
I need to get one
Same here
I just got a white proto and I’m not sure if a proto or a tracer is better
Both are great you couldn't go wrong with either one!
@@thehockeyshopbc thank you, now I won’t regret -300$
Wow
The best stick ever
Its pretty sweet
I just got a tracer today but I just broke my ft7 pro

@@joshuahollobaugh7382 i got my stick stuck in the boards and it went inside my jersey and then the blade snapped
Unfortunately this is all marketing, there is little to no difference between Nexus GEO, Sync and Tracer. Same with Hyperlite and Hyperlite2.
Nexses
I got the Stick today It's fire
It is!
wow
I got one and it is unreal
Nice!
Hi
Full tape job on synthetic ice ☠️

who's here this early...? 👀
Early crew wya 🔥
Me!

Me!
Not early enough. 30 mins too late 💀
Bauer sticks break too easily. I only use CCM.
My dad got a trigger eight and broke first skate and he snapped another ccm
fcking bar down machine!
Mwh
There is no creativity in the stick you can tell they copied the sync and ft6. The tracer sucks
"Should you upgrade?"

You realize every single brand does the same thing right 😅
The sync is on a crazy sale rn
@Macer.c I only use Bauer, and this is a Bauer specific video
@owenqiu9028 I saw, but you can't customize one anymore. I use the Laine curve on the SYNC and it's the best stick I've ever used.
