I heard this song when I was 8 years old. My dad had told me to leave his record albums alone, so I would wait till he went to work and then I would listen to his records. One day as I was going through his albums I came across his Chuck Berry albums and put one on to play. I listened to Maybellen, Johnny B Good, and couldn’t help myself when I saw one called My Ding-a-Ling. I have no idea how many times I played that song, but I do know I was smiling the whole time. I still have my dads record albums and still have a giggle when I play My Ding-a-Ling. I’m in my 50’s now and that song still makes me smile.

I knew you would love this song but I have never seen this video before and I love it lol. Yes I was singing along and I remembered most of the words which has amazed me to be honest. Your reactions were all anyone could ask for sweetheart, you got right into the spirit of Chuck Berry and his song, wasn't he marvellous, the type of entertainer that we dont see anymore sadly. Innuendo is a type of comedy that I enjoy and to have it in a song has always thrilled me, when she first heard this my Mum cried with laughter and never objected to us hearing it as we older ones could see one side of it while the little ones thought just of silver bells bless them. I haven't stopped grinning yet lol. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy and Prosperous New Year. God bless you all love hugs and peace to everyone Mary-Ellen UK
