    Maybe it should have been mentioned that the heat sink would require the thermal paste to be replaced BEFORE disconnecting it, which would prevent people from removing if they do not have thermal paste ready to be applied? Also I did not see the thermal paste being replaced in the video itself. This would break someone's laptop!

      @a0head0aerosol, Thanks for the feedBack, I didn't replace the Thermal Paste because was demonstrating using a new laptop, hence didn't require replacement. Blessings!!!

      Sorry i dont understand. Maybe cause i dont speake english very well, but: when u say "the heat sink would requiere the thermal paste to be replaced BEFORE disconnecting it" i dont understand how. How can i change the thermal paste if i didnt remove the heat sink?

    • @trip_t2122
      @trip_t2122 Год назад +2

      @@SseguGames This is kinda late but when you remove the heatsink for any reason, you have to reapply the thermal paste because just placing the heatsink back with the old thermal paste might introduce air spaces which would reduce the efficiency of the thermal paste. The original comment was therefore saying that one should not remove the heatsink if you don't have any thermal paste available. But to answer your question, you have to remove the heatsink in order to apply the thermal paste; you can't do it without removing it.

      Dust, dirt, hair, and other debris can fall into the keyboard over time and obstruct a key's movement or interfere with its circuitry. Try removing the key that isn't working and clean the area under and around it (Turn off your laptop or plug off your keyboard. Flip the device upside-down and shake it. You might even want to pat it occasionally. Use a soft brush or compressed air between the keys to loosen up the debris.)

    Nice video! How can you resolve T460 with the boot failure issue?

    • @opolotiversity
      @opolotiversity  2 года назад

      Thanks @olabode akiwowo for the feedback,
      You can resolve T460 with the boot failure issue by:
      -Try turning the laptop off by holding the power button down until the laptop shuts off.
      -Wait a few seconds and then turn the laptop on, press Enter and then F12 when you see the Lenovo splash screen.
      -This should give you the options to try a different boot source.

      You cant upgrade the CPU because the CPU doesnt have a physically socket. The CPU is soldered on the PCB

      @@gino_mc_5812 unfortunately Lenovo Thinkpad models can be used for moderate gaming/graphics but not for heavy gaming. so changing almost the whole system wont help much. If you are looking for best gaming laptops in Lenovo. you can go with Lenovo Legion series which has the best gaming laptops..

      @Crispin Thanks for watching,
      It depends on the supplier, This one in particular came with only 1 RAM stick of 8GB
      I just upgraded it by adding another of 8GB to have a total of 16GB ...
