It probably takes a fuck ton of more editing. But holy shit, this is a wonderful addition. Usually when I watch you commentary on people's vids I have to kinda register what you said and play it out in my head. This helps a lot with getting a visual of what you're trying to tell the audience

Small suggestion - Place links in the video to your other videos, ie the free knee slice pass mentioned could be placed somewhere on the screen to navigate to it right away. People are lazy and don't want to look for stuff lol. This could increase your viewer ship, and help lead to conversions.

Hey bro you are very good love your guys team . I am one of them black belts that suck like you said in this video but I think you speak the truth . I like to train with your team I live in Hammond Indiana pretty far . I don’t train as much anymore like I did years ago . I do want to get better and I know I would get m ass whooped by most guys in your gym but that would make me better .
I would love to hear your thoughts (if you haven't already discussed it previously) on how to change the training methods of a "traditional" gym from the inside out. How can I as a student or a group of students help a instructor that's set in his/her ways evolve and grow?

Due to the low numbers of black belts entering this comp, purple, brown and black belts were all in the same bracket. This has changed as of this year though
@@bjjandlift6365 ahhh ok. Guy looked like he was in masters. Thank you! I haven't competed since I was a purple belt myself. Been like 5 years I never seen them combine like that
Some comps have an expert division that is purple belt and up I think. Kind of like an absolute weight class but for belt levels. Good for purples and browns to test themselves if the competition is stiff enough
@@mraBJJ33 I know If you do advance in no gi at Naga and you do gi you at least have to do purple belt. Wasn't sure with this tournament. What is this tournament anyway?
@@markie5287 I'm not too sure, I don't do too many comps but I know competitors. One guy is a purple belt but he trained for 10 years at a gym that was only no gi and didn't do belts so when he moved to a school that did he got his blue belt very quickly and he said if you're a competitor in ibjjf you have to be a blue belt for two years and so on. So he's technically much better than any purple belt I've rolled with but he wants to compete so he follows those rules

You can, but it's in the gi so no heel hooks. The position for passing is also terrible compared to a knee slice with your knee om the mat and an underhook.
