@@potater6877 I could be wrong but I think the older EMG version had a silver barrel where as the new Army Armament/6mm Pro Shop comes with a full black barrel, hope that helps!
@@GRIMTHEBERSERKER Just did some research, and apparently the stock guns of the AA Staccatos that are sold in the US do have that half silver half black barrel. Even the shape of the hammer is different. Not sure why that is, but damn do I wish ours looked like yours! Thanks again for the reply!

On Evike Europe, the XC is advertised as having a "Real Steel Black Oxide Aluminium Slide," which sounds promising. However, I’ve also noticed that the markings on the XL, C2, and P models appear much sharper in the photos compared to those on the XC.

Hi, I bought the same r618 as you and it arrived on the way, but I want to add the trijicon SRO red dot to it, the bad news is that this time the military does not include the base plate, my question is whether the r612 base plate can be used with the r618, I really hope you reply, thank you very much
Two more questions #1 Have you tested if the optics plate from your C2 fits? I would expect it to. Would like to use the optics plate from my P model if possible. #2 how is the color of the slide compared to the C2? From the pictures the XC slide looks more black. My “P” has a green tint to it. Looks like the C2 has the same.
@@Lurbakke100 I actually have not tested it on the XC no. The XC slide is completely black and does not have the same black oxide finish that you get on the C2/XL/P. Yes, it’s from 6mmproshop. I have had some fitment issues with the trigger (wouldn’t reset), magazine (wouldn’t drop free) that I have spent a lot of time on fixing. Now it’s great, but out of the box it should not have had those issues. Other people seem to be happy so probably just an issues on my gun and not necessarily the “P” specific. Here are some +/- + cool + great price + TM compatible - slides has a green tint - Optics plate is not good. The sight is only supported by the screws unlike RS. - optics plate a little too tall compared to RS - not sure if the nozzle is proprietary. Taiwangun does not sell spares. - no extra Staccato-branded magazines available - no standard sight plate included. Would have been nice.

Nice review, one thing i noticed is that some Army Armament XCs have the outter barrel black and lack the extractor semi circle on the rear of the slide (like on your Staccato), while others have the extraxtor semi circle engraved on the slide rear and the outter barrel is polished steel, anyone else noticed it ?

They did a little research and found most of the US stock comes with the silver barrel. Yes there is no extractor semi circle on the back, thanks for bringing that to my attention, I never even noticed it!!!
@@GRIMTHEBERSERKER after 1 month, could you please tell how does the xc holds ? how does the compensator fit, do you have to tighten the barell sleeve to the comp everytime, or it stays tight, did you loctite it ? Are there some issues you can point out ?
@@sorinnogai5525 What’s good my friend. The XC is still well and performing, I have since put loctite on the barrel sleeve as this kept coming loose, I have also put loctite on the guide rod as this also kept coming loose. Apart from that which is an easy fix, the replica is still running sweet.
@@GRIMTHEBERSERKER Thanks fo sharing, also if you will acces the staccato xc info on army armament page, you will se that as of 28 of july they changed the promotional pictures (the main ones) which features an updated versoin of XC, with a one piece outter barrel (no rotating sleeve) with a polished steel finish, which was regarded as the US version, the rotating sleeve came from r604 (DVC P) and r501 (on the r501 the o ring inside the sleeve was of bad quality, it would get worn off fast and wont be able to hold the sleeve in place, as a result upon a shot the comp with the sleeve would go flying, fixed by changing to a thicker o ring). Guess they want to keep the one piece barell as the standart now. P.S.: also the Evike does not sell the EMG staccato (helios) line anymore, only the Army Armament, the EMG ones proved to be problematic, with a lot of quality issues such as finish, parts breaking and high return rate, so they either will update them as well, or fully discontinued them and only keep the AA line.

Also very interesting that they have no changed to the polished silver barrel, I much prefer the black one on mine however I will admit that one piece outer barrel without the sleeve does look more functional! Hmm… I wonder if mine would be problematic then eventually. The sleeve has been loctited.
