Your method of casting with less brake and smoother motion, letting the rod and lure weight do the work for you makes a lot of sense, so thanks for that. Next time I fish a jetty I'm using a Texas rig on my Tatula 7'3" 10-20lb with 13 Fishing Concept Z. I'll dial down the brake and use your method.

Hi, got me a Coastal nearly one month ago. Used it in saltwater. Now it makes some rattling sound when casting. Can’t remember if it came this way due to the crbb bearings or if something is wrong. Cleaned bearings once and oiled them lightly. Is this normal sound. Does your coastal make some sound? My Daiwa Silver Wolf casts absolutely soundless… Thx

Here in Israel we are not using baitcast reel for spinning. Only spinning reels.

当方ビッグベイトで使用するリールで18アンタレスdcmdとこちらで迷っているのですが、飛距離のアンタレスか逆風でもトラブル少なそうなこちらかで迷っています。
20タトゥーラSV TWをもっているのですが、COASTAL SV TWは確かエクストラハイギアはレフトハンドルなかったですよね？
飛距離や空気抵抗のあるビッグベイトを使用した場合の飛距離やハイギアモデルでの操作性等はいかがでしょうか？
ビッグベイトは投げたことが無いので、なんとも言えないのですね。私の持っている古いモデルのタトゥーラ達より、ボディは軽くて若干コンパクトなので、重たいのを振り回すには、もしかすると剛性が気になるかもしれません。レフトハンドルは7:1:1のみですね。

Is there a certain gear ratio that you prefer? High or low?
I don't have a choice for this reel. Left handle only has 7.1:1. For Jig and Worm, I prefer extra high like 8.1:1.
I just wish pressing the thumb bar again would make it pop up rather than needing to turn the handle.
