I think EA underestimated Cossie. In September '99 Evo Magazine tested AWD cars, which included GT-R R34, Delta Evo, UrQuattro, TT, S3, Impreza WRX STi Type V, Impreza RB5, Impreza 22B, 996 Carrera 4, Evo VI and Evo VI RS Sprint. And EsCos bested all cars except for Lancers, 22B and RB5. Also, Cosworth YBT engine has much more tuning potential than in game and with some setups it can muster around 1000bhp.
I would say, ive had the most fun in any driving game drifting the skyline to victory in grip events. I wish unbound had similar physics; kinda arcade but allow for slip angling your car and other little techniques. I cant remember much about how the rear wheel drives felt in a drift set up during grip races, but the drifting in the skyline through grip races felt a million times better than the drifting in the drift events.
Hey uh i tested out your setup for the evo 9 and i gotta say it did not work. I am playing the game on my old xbox 360 and well i honestly dont know much about tuning and i aint saying its the problem with the setup probably a skill issue added with frame rate loss and whatnot, but any ideas on how to make the car more stable when entering and exit corners so it wont wobble?

High grip, high low speed acceleration. It's a demon on tight tracks as the video said. Sad it's Capped top speed and low mid - high speed acceleration prevents it's use on high speed tracks

I love this game. Keeping up with a Koenigsegg ccx in an r34 at the oval circuit was the highlight while playing this game.

Eclipse with stock tyres is faster at least for me.

The S4 feels redundant. At least the Integra LS and non-RS 911 GT3 sort of have niches.
