An additional tip. When I took the front off the catches did not reset to the open position. I took the screw driver to reset them and then the front went on smoothly. Thanks again for the video.

Brilliant!
As I was assembling our kitchen (with many Maximera drawers), I made a mistake and needed to get the front off... Tried poking into the mechanism in several spots, but couldn't get it. Waited 40 minutes on the phone with IKEA, who didn't know a solution, other than (free of charge, because I am a IKEA Family member 👌👌) sending me out a new drawer + front... and gave me the tip to search on RUclips. Solved within minutes and I can cancel the new drawer! Thank you!

This video and the earlier one showing how you and Ann make the drawers are both excellent. I found the supplied instructions quite confusing in places but these videos made the whole process a breeze. IKEA should just put a link to your videos and save a ton of paper!!

To remove drawers without weakening the mechanism - shaking etc; feel underneath the drawer removal, height adjustment screws etc, find the front of the drawer runners and feel for the drawer removal clips on both sides. Lift / and press clips upwards and the drawer(s) will pop out with ease.
