This is the best video I could find that did the IKEA Maximera install with good camera angles, no annoying music in the background and didn’t skip any parts of the install. Thank you so much for creating this step by step guide, really helped a lot!!
Thank you so much for this video. I'm usually really good at assembling IKEA, but this has been a rough week (month), and I haven't had the concentration to figure out what I did wrong. Your clear video and instructions were a lifesaver!
What was most helpful was explaining the instructions, namely for bottom drawers, go to page X, for upper drawers, go to page XX. Assembling the drawers was very clear.
This is an exceptional video and very straightforward with easy to follow guides. No antics or gimmicks, just the business of putting the drawers together. Thank you
Dear Matt and Anne, thank so much for the video with very clear instructions and i am glad to find an Australian RUclipsr ( i noticed Anne use Ozito drill - my favorite tool). I am a 62 years old housewife would like to add some pull drawers to my kitchen cabinets. I have found your videos very helpfull and thinking of getting the pull out from Ikea but my measurements don't match what Ikea has. My open cabinet are : 890mm, 880mm,350mm and 445mm by 600mm deep. Would you able to kindly help suggest what sizes i should buy please ? I think there Maximera type. Thankyou so much Matt and Anne 🙏🥰 I am struggle reaching to the back of the sheves ...as i am getting older now 😢
Thank you for your kind words and good on you for giving it a go! 👍😊 As far as sizes go I would suggest taking your measurements into an Ikea shop and chatting to someone. Also take a tape with you and check measurements yourself. Ikea regularly bring in new models and delete old ones so it is almost impossible to say what will work in your case. We really appreciated your feedback thanks 😊
Hello, thank you for your guidance! Is there a way to make the hidden drawer go with the front drawer when opening? If I use the hidden more often then the front, it's a one step more for me to open the front drawer only in order to be able to open the hidden one. Thank you!!
You are most welcome. I know what you mean about the hidden draw. I don’t know of any off the shelf device but one could improvise with a magnet or a little catch?
Sorry for the delay in answering, I am looking into do a video on it as it is hard to explain without a demonstration. I'm sure there are others in your situation. Thanks for your input 👍😊
Hi Howard, here's the answer to your question: ruclips.net/video/S69KWNuPES4/видео.html Sorry I took so long to reply, I hope this is still of some help. Regards Matt
I have a bunch of Ikea drawers to assemble. There's nothing like a well filmed and descriptive video to make the process much easier. Your video is part of that category. One small criticism: your screwing technic with a drill driver made me cringe. IMO, an small impact driver (with a light touch) does a way better job. Thanks again. Cheers from Canada.
Hullo you two, Thanks for the great videos. I'm screwing in drawer rails at the moment. I've watched a number of videos and I only ever see people using the supplied grub screws with two in front and one in the back. Looking at the instructions I see they supply small countersunk screws (marked screw B in the instructions) to go in where there is no predrilled holes in the cabinet, which varies according to if it's an inset drawer. I didn't see you use them. Did you?
Thanks for the comment. No we generally do not routinely put any screws where there are no predrilled holes. However if I feel that the drawer will be subject to a heavy load I don't think twice about adding an extra screw or two to the rail in a position that I estimate will absorb some of that load. Hope this makes sense. Good luck with your project 😊👍

I have a replacement drawer front under warranty. Can you help with taking the drawer front off an existing drawer?
