even with lane watch and honda sensing, not getting blind spot monitoring is kinda sad, at rm141 k, worse still no option for 1st party 360 camera( it was an option for outgoing model), having to pay extra for wireless charger is another bummer, still honda will sell bucket loads of it at the end of the day
The fundamentals of a new car, such as blind spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera, are absent from the HRV. The deposit I made before June 30 will now, regretfully, need to be refunded. Haiz.
Shame on Honda for following Toyota's footsteps in giving Malaysians a cheaper center screen than other markets. For the asking price, we deserve better!!!!
The Malaysia's center screen are the same with the markets close to us which are Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia spec. I guess you are referring to those specs of the European and Japan market.
Yes you deserve better, but you guys don't vote with your wallet. 25k bookings (as of yesterday) despite the shit talk on the trash looking center screen tells Honda that malaysians are hypocrite idiots.
The old HR-V looked good when it came out but damn does this look really good. Saw one on the road as it passed me and that rear looks like a macan. Love that line on the front bumper too. Hope it drives as good as it looks 😊👍🏾
Seen this today at Honda Taiping. The cabin is a big disappointment. Looks cheap and as if it is made of plastik baldi . Then there is this hump at the back of the centre display. The Chinese automakers are making so much improvement. Then there were two sexy models standing next to the car. The staffs there were very busy taking photos with the models rather than attending to the potential buyers. Ohh they have 20k bookings thus far so let's celebrate. That is not the way of doing business.
Quite a big jump in price from the previous generation. The design however looks really mean and sporty. If this is how the HRV looks, I wonder what the CRV will look like and how much it'll be priced.
the new 2023 CR-V just launched, and the design I would say is not too different from the current model except for the new interior (same as in Civic) and the new rear tail lamp
Only body looks good. The interior is awful and plasticky. I can pick any China brands car with the same price range would kill this Honda HRV.. Definitely a slap in the face for all Malaysian. Honda should offer full specs for the lower spec. Shame on u Honda Malaysia..!!!!!!
I'm surprised none of the reviewers managed to tell us what exactly is the boot capacity of this car. Would someone please press Honda to just give us the figure for god sake? In the brochure of the outgoing model we could find this figure proudly listed, but in the latest brochure this info is nowhere to be found. Why is such basic info becoming so elusive?
I love the exterior design of this all new HRV but the interior looks soo boring.. at least Honda can give option for interior color and the infotainment system looks soo after market..
Saw this in a neighbouring country recently, and I've got to say its a good looking SUV, but there's nothing compact about it. It's looks bigger and heavier than the previous model. Pity it's still riding on the torsion beam suspension set up, hopefully Honda have improved the ride and handling of this model which have marred the previous model.
Hi, Hafriz. Is the Honda Sensing (ACC and AEB) on the new HR-V based on camera or radar or combination of both? Is there a maximum speed listed for the AEB? Thank you.
No front & rear camera, no door visor, no ambient light, no side step, no wireless charging, no 360 cam, no blind spot monitoring, no tint, etc. Throughout all spec. Mmm....
I think design-wise, I still kinda like the slightly rounded previous version of the HRV. In terms of tech, well ... I think if there is honda sensing, then, they might as well not sell the car (especially with the X50 having it at a lower price point). Other than that, for now .. I still like the previous HRV design. This new one looks blended and at a glance looks like the Toyota or even some other European models. IMHO ;)
Hafriz mentioned that this was the most well-equipped car (in terms of active safety systems) in the class. Wait, what does the X50 lose out to? AEB, level 2 semi-autonomous driving, low speed follow. same right? Or maybe due to the fact that the HRV has lane watch?
@@AfifAshroff x50, not just low speed follow but ICC(intelligent cruise control), it can stop at the speed of 0 and follow back the front car. super useful in heavy traffic jammed
At minute 9.10, The V gets a steering wheel and gear knob??? What?? I thought steering wheel and gear knob is in all cars. Guys The V variant gets a steering wheel and gear knob! Other cars dont have it. 😏 Ok! I get it. They have the leather wrapped around it!

Ugly looking floating screen 😒
Harga mahal for B Segment SUV...
Better Toyota Cross Corolla..
Wow, mahal
Oh my, the spec still lack far from X50, even V spec is missing autowiper? What a joke is this Honda?

Same. X50 is kinda better if you think about it.. more features and even the top speed is higher

why don't this HR-V use the same interior as in Civic? :(
One year wait ??? Not worth it👎
Depan ala2 MAZDA X7, belakang TOYOTA HARRIER...hehehe rasalah
Interior look cheap. I rather buy Peugeot 2008
that middle rear seat is too high to accomodate 3 passanger at the back
Wow... r we buying a house? 🤣.. i dont have suv. But i think x50 is more worth it.
For the price ya, although x50 smaller than hrv, but for that price ya x50 flagship much better option la
X50 is smaller compare to the new HRV.
Quite a big jump in price from the previous generation. The design however looks really mean and sporty. If this is how the HRV looks, I wonder what the CRV will look like and how much it'll be priced.
2023 CRV look very nice, Just launched in USA.
Already got some videos from US market on the new CRV, go check it out :)

CRV just launched in US few days ago.
U can search online for the crv 2023, US area already launch.
For the look, spec and the engine, i booked hrv rather that corolacross or cx30.
141k i will top up abit & go for Cx5 > C segment and better build quality
or even go for the X50 and save a lot of cash
Yes correct..cx5 better....
Toyota cross

140K for RS? Better get Civic lol
Exorbitant price at such specs. Interior looks boring. Not offering dual tone colour. Thank you Honda Malaysia!
Interior are boring and look old . Not match with exterior...
It's Honda not bmw
what's up with the big ass LCD screen cover. really looks unfinished one. will be waiting for facelift instead
well is getting very good i love the looks this is getting fantastic
Crap ... KIA is much Better !

In the brochure of the outgoing model we could find this figure proudly listed, but in the latest brochure this info is nowhere to be found.
Why is such basic info becoming so elusive?
Because the boot space is smaller this time, hence it’s not a feature to brag about
I believe the V spec will be the top selling variant for this HRV
Cheapest model. 100k dah jadi cheapest dah
The interior design is bad though
I love the exterior design of this all new HRV but the interior looks soo boring.. at least Honda can give option for interior color and the infotainment system looks soo after market..

Ok la, 181hp 220nm sadin for rm140k......just an ordinary cheap cross over that can drive out to town.
toyota corolla cross all day everyday
Why 1.8 NA downgrade to 1.5 NA? Please return 1.8 NA engine
For murah roadtax maybe heheh
@@haniefnoor403 Below 2.0 roadtax already dirt cheap, what's the difference between 1.5 and 1.8 lol?
Still ok, 1.5 with 4 cyclinder inline engine & jimat petrol. Roadtax pun murah..
As long as engine maintain used 4 cyclinder, no pblm compared to 3 cyclinder
Honda Malaysia thought Malaysian money easy to con? Cheap spec with higher price👍
Cute
can compare HRV ehev vs corolla hybrid?

Quiet similiar to Cross from Toyota
1.5N/A spec is for those who die die want a Japanese brand
Looks so good. Better than the usa
Yeahhhh im not alone! Hehehe Crt oh crt!
does it have auto folding side mirrors?
Omg why hp get downgrade
Waww.. 😍

the default choice of the class !
the E and V version seem to be a good buy
not 230k
Previous H-RV's are far more better
Biar kereta lama ada seribu kenangan, daripada kereta baharu, rm1000 sebulan...

Ha..ha..bukan Rm 1k saja sebulan...tp lebih 🤣
