Love seeing all that happy foliage and pretty little flowers. Nothing beats nature's sunshine. All those healthy branches give you many styling options. I've never seen one in real life so am looking forward to see your decisions. Keeping the bugs at bay must be quite the chore in winter.
@@sueb1317 thank you SueBee! (Wait until I start posting on my hibiscus projects… 🌺 🫠) I think there will be a drastic change in chapter 3. As for the bugs, I’m doing a more structured routine. Soap shower once a week for the first 3 weeks, then once a month for the rest of winter. Plus, every spider I find in my home gets relocated to the tent or arctic entryway. So far, so good.
@@DavesBonsai Ha! Great question. At first, I was thinking “dragon tree”, and that could be a nice leg. Then I was thinking of breaking this tree up with airlayers, and version 2.0 that branch could become an apex or side branch. Without a vision, I’m reluctant to do anything!! 🫣🥴
Kudos to you Billy for not only keeping it alive but actually getting it to grow pretty vigorously.. great work!
Thank you, Dave.
It’s amazing what happens when I keep the bugs in check, and fertilize appropriately. Hehe
Nice progress!
Thank you, Jay!
Great job! I need you at my house to keep my plants alive! All of you😊
Hehe, wish I could be
She looks very healthy Billy. Love the time travel!
Thank you, Steve.
Very cool!! Thanks for the update. Makes me want to get a replacement for mine that died.
Thank you for watching the update. Hehe
She seems pretty tough, so long as I keep the bugs in check.
Nice work keeping the infamous fukien tea alive, and healthy. Impressive.
@@BonsaiNorthwest 🤘🏼Thank you. I got quite frustrated in chapter I, but we are both much happier in our second trip around the sun.
Sooper noice
Souper Tanks!
Looking healthy!!!! Nice work!
@@DavesBonsai thanks Dave!
I’m glad it was tuff enough to survive my learning curve.

@@baldyeti That spider idea is just awesome! Keep yourself and that spider warm - winter is coming...
Sometime in Nov/Dec I would get a pretty heavy leaf drop. Your’s is looking pretty fantastic! Shark!
Interesting. I wonder why yours did that. This one definitely dropped leaves 🍂, but when healthy she was replacing them as she went.
Rainbow Trout!
When you going to cut the branch pointing down? 😂

Nooooo… you chopped the fern! 😢
@@DavesBonsai he he…yeah, I was afraid the seeds would somehow spread to all the plants in the grow tent. It was fun for a minute though.
