@@Kawaiilolrofl Except that it isn't. Disc and holy both have their bonuses and negatives. The problem with the holy hate is that everyone thinks disc is just infinitely better. It's really not. Yes disc is great at mitigating and providing damage, but it's not so much that it prevents 1 shots on 99% of fights which it would require to be considered the broken levels that mists was. Holy can burst most damage taken right back up and actual 1 shot mechanics are better delt with by wings instead most of the time. They also have significant cds in lightwell, hymn, wings, and body & soul. People sleep so fucking hard on such an amazing spec because the sweatiest people tell them it's not bis. Holy is, in general, the better class due to versatility. GL healing stupid as disc over holy.

That poor resto druid getting pumped lol. Srsly though, why do ppl sleep on holy P? This is a good illustration where Holy can outperform all other heal class. Do you think you can do something similar in a Nef fight? I think if you can do that more ppl will be convinced that Holy packs a punch.
The reason everyone is saying that is because they bring basically no utility. Disc has pain supp, barrier etc. while holy only has guardian angel. The output of hpriest is one of the best, but they're very very mana hungry and as I said, basically no utility. It's still a good class though!
Holy does offers a unique toolkit as well: Guardian spirit, Divine hymn on 3 min CD (highest HPS raid CD), 60% movement increase to allies for 4 seconds via body and soul, Lightwell (basically Healthstone HoT), and versatility to become a more effective tank or raid healer depending on raid comp + some stuff disc gets too like life grip and hymn of hope

It's not bad. Holy is certainly a very viable spec.
But disc ist just so strong and broken that it outshines holy in almost every situation.

@@Gerritson I agree, would be good if guardian angel lasts longer/has shorter cd but it doesn't.
gs is just like pain sup. And they have a 3min cd on hymn. Also lightwell.....disc is behind them imo
