This is one of if not the finest epitaph in history of modern music. When Bowie died last year I felt like world suddenly became a much worse place. I don't even dare to think what kind of world will this become when David Gilmour passes away. Hopefully, with him being a demigod, I hope that will happen somewhere around his 100th birthday, by his own decision to descend to some other, higher dimension. I know I sound like an infatuated teenager, but Pink Floyd literally saved my sanity on more than a few occasions. I enjoy every second of their enormous musical and human legacy and I will continue to do so for the rest of my earthly life.

In all honesty, when all of these great souls depart, we'll be deeply grateful of the marvellous opportunity to have shared the little piece in history when they flourished. When their works accompanied our own growing up and gave us at least a tiny sense of beauty behind the curtain of pain and loneliness that, especially Pink Floyd, so extendedly elaborated from.
I get such chills when I hear the last seconds of the song knowing it's the last Pink Floyd song ever!

Even though I enjoyed the album, I really wish high hopes kept being the last pink floyd song ever..
I'm 57 I have had heard every Floyd song, been to two amazing concerts, first heard them when I was11. To me this song resonates with my soul. Its how we should treat each other. A blue planet drifting thru time together.

iv descovered floyd, when I was 11 years old. turning 50 this year, and , I love all good , quality , sound that other artists have , and their passion. NO ONE , comes close to "PINK FLOYD!!"
there will never be another Freddie as in Queen .....but also there will never be another Pink Floyd and I feel very honoured to have lived with their music to enjoy the sounds that will live forever xxxx
