In this video, we’re going to teach you how to make the quiche. This quiche recipe is keto-friendly, and it tastes great!
If you’re in a rush or maybe you even hate to cook, this quick and simple recipe is for you. You can make this keto-friendly quiche recipe in advance to enjoy later. You can also make the pie crust and egg mixture separately and freeze them both to have on hand.
You can double or triple this recipe to make a variety of quiches to freeze and have at any time of the day. What Karen Berg did, was made a large batch of the egg mixture, poured it into six different pie crusts, and then filled them with different things. You can really customize these however you’d like.
The different keto-friendly quiches Karen Berg made are:
• Chicken and sharp cheddar
• Veggie
• Bacon, onion, and cheddar
• Ham and swiss
• Spinach and salmon
• Cheese and sausage
The crust for this quiche is not wheat. It’s made with almond flour. These crusts are also super fast and easy to make.
The secret if you want a quiche with different things in it:
Cook the meat and saute the vegetables ahead of time, add those ingredients to the crust first, then pour the egg on top of that.
Here’s how to make quiche at home:
1. Mix together 3 eggs, 1 cup of organic milk, 1/2 cup organic cream, and 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/2 tsp. chives
2. Fill your keto-friendly pie crust with the cheese/veggies/meat of your choice.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the pie crust
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes

OMGosh this recipe is AMAZING! Maybe I missed it in the comments but I didn't see anyone ELSE saying that they had tried this recipe. The egg mixture is fluffy and scrumptious. I made my crust the day before. I then did what they said in the video, I cleaned out the fridge (tasting bits together to make sure that they would taste good mixed and baked together. I had left over hamburger crumble that had onions garlic salt and pepper. I had a mushrooms sauted with leeks in butter. I had Delicata squash with garlic and butter. On the bottom of the pie I used Cheddar, Mozzarella, and fresh parmesan. I dumped in the above mixture of meat and vegetables on top of the cheese bottom, then slowly poured in the egg mixture to which I had also added fresh chopped scallions. I had packed my pie crust so full that I had to pour the egg in slowly so that it could seep into the pie guts before spilling out. I topped my quiche with thin slices of Cheddar cheese so that all the bits of meat were covered. (I hate the taste of reheated meat if it is left open to the oven air). In my egg mixture, I used raw milk, and cream, I added less salt because all of my ingredients were already salted. Some of the egg mixture bubbled out while cooking, thank goodness I had a cookie pan under the pie pan. I gobbled that up with a spoon as soon as I saw that it had spilled out so that it didn't get burned. Those bites were a bit of fluffy heaven.

Something I recommend in the morning is 2 sunnyside up eggs, over sauteed kale and black beans with taco seasoning. It is soo good, and a great way to get more kale in your diet. I like to also add a vegetarian sausage or shrimp if I want extra protein

If you want a fluffier quiche - add 1 level tspn of baking soda and 1 tblspn of vinegar or dill pickle juice to the wet ingredients. BOOM. Your quiche will RISE and be so fluffy.

This was delicious, the crust had a nice nutty flavor, but wow this recipe is generous! I had to add another 20 minutes to get this beast fully baked. Instead of my 9" pie pan, next time I'll make two 8" pies. Love watching you two, keep those recipes coming!

Mmmmm, thank you so much, Karen and Dr Eric Berg, I heart this :-) And the cool thing about it is you can put in desired variations. Quiche is wonderful! I would definitely pur Mushrooms, peppers, finely diced carrots and celery, chia seeds, and with the meats I would use any compassionately, pasture raised, grass fed animal source - from ground beef to tri-tip, to chicken breast to pork sausage as well as bacon.

Love your show & your you tube videos! You guys make a great team. I love quiche, especially when feeding a group & prepare it ahead of time. Ive always made ‘crustless’ quiche which is much easier, less fuss and bulky calories. Most of all super easy. Now that i am keto i use heavy cream watered down as a base. FYI~hopefully a easy, helpful tip. I make it in a 13” X 8” CASEROL dish for several servings.

My favorite Italian Italian fretadda , green squash . 15 small ones. Thinly slice. Cook until carmelized. Scramble 1 dozen eggs. Cook med heat. Until it sets up. Then broiler until the top. I fully cooked. Best use cast iron pans. No crust. . I add bacon , Brussels sprout, shark parmesan cheese. WOW.

I made a cauliflower crust for my quiche. I used a(8x8) pan. Then made the recipe veggie quiche with cheese! Its delicious! :) I love to experiment an add different veggies or what I have in the fridge...topped off with cheese, and when serving served Avocado on top and a nice green salad...Gotta get those greens! :) Delicious and my friends loved it too! :)

Winter, so my hens are down to one egg a day and it goes in my morning smoothie. This is pizza time of year for me. Greenhouse is still pumping out lots of New Zealand spinach, green onions and occasional tomato and pepper. Have to buy the cheese and sausage crumbles.

i have been making quiche since the 80’s i never use a pie crust, i just spray the baking dish with non stick spray. i had the best quiche of my life in the 80’s it had smoked trout, onions, artichoke hearts thats all i remember. It was a restaurant called Tahoe House on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, it was Scandinavian food and deserts. Too bad it has closed.
