  • Damario Solomon-Simmons has been fighting for justice and reparations for the survivors and descendants of the Tulsa Race Massacre for almost 25 years now. As the attorney of the only two remaining survivors and the founder of Justice for Greenwood, he is a pillar of the Greenwood community and a fearless advocate for justice. Hear his story and learn how you can help.
The 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre led to the destruction of the Greenwood District of Tulsa, Oklahoma, also known as “Black Wall Street.” A mob of thousands of white Tulsans violently destroyed the neighborhood in the worst act of domestic terrorism in United States history.
In order to secure a brighter future, we must reckon with the whole truth of our history. This allows us to address the damage of white supremacy from its foundation and ultimately achieve freedom and equality for all.
