I've seen Ruby-throated hummingbirds around here; but, they tend not to stay still long enough for me to take a picture. I think this is a really nice painting and you have captured the sparkle without using any iridescent paint.

Hi, there, Maggi here, one of your biggest fans. I now have ALL of the colors you use in this painting. But guess what, I need to go out and get a 1/4 inch flat brush. I'm going to get one tomorrow. Can't wait to try this. I hope I can keep my hand as steady as yours (doubtful). Perhaps I need to velcro my arm to the table so it can't wobble!

Do you explain that palette in more detail anywhere in one of your videos? It looks like a great asset to have when painting outdoors.
Thanks Tony. The palette is the mixing tray from a "Koi" Watercolour travel set. The colours are set up so the ones I mix together most often are close together. Peter
