Materials:
Derwent 3h Pencil
MY PALETTE: All tube paints!
Winsor newton- Yellow Ochre, Sepia, Burnt Sienna, Winsor Red, Davy's Gray, Ultramarine, Sap Green.
A Polarflo half inch and a #2 quarter inch flat brush.
Arches 140lb Cold Press Paper

I've seen Ruby-throated hummingbirds around here; but, they tend not to stay still long enough for me to take a picture. I think this is a really nice painting and you have captured the sparkle without using any iridescent paint.

Hi, there, Maggi here, one of your biggest fans. I now have ALL of the colors you use in this painting. But guess what, I need to go out and get a 1/4 inch flat brush. I'm going to get one tomorrow. Can't wait to try this. I hope I can keep my hand as steady as yours (doubtful). Perhaps I need to velcro my arm to the table so it can't wobble!
