I love watching you paint your beautiful paintings, and I love that you let us in on your little bloopers at the end 😊 Thank you for letting us see that you are human too, just like us, and show us your amazing sense of humor! That certainly puts a smile on my face and I hope you know that a simple thing like that actually makes a difference 😊
Excellent lesson on the most difficult aspect of water colour painting. That is to allow the paint to do its job. I've been dabbling with watercolor for sometime. But though this is very clear in wet-on-wet, there is a temptation to aid the paint to move. One touch and its a disaster. This comes thru clearly in you video. Thanks. I found the last 1 minute hilarious too. This is exactly a problem all of us face when speaking into a video camera. Very enjoyable!
USA 🇺🇸here💜...I'm into abstract, ya know tape, rattle can n gum wrappers, lol..but you are amazingly creative n naturally talented at your watercolor technique💯..I'm totally hooked..ring that bell, people👍omg, I'll show up just for the bloopers at the end...you're awesome..thx for sharing🙂
I love all the detailed explanations on how you painted each step of the way. Your channel is definitely a go-to for tutorials . Thank you for sharing.
“I let it do what it wants to do,” re: color mixing on the paper. Again, YES YES YES, it’s so organic and…ok…I’ll say it…soul-satisfying, to see what the water, pigment and paper want to do on their own. That makes it all so organic and unique and original, which is why I picked watercolor as my medium to begin with. Later, I want to try alcohol ink on yupo paper. 😊 You’re going to eventually help me make that transition, though you don’t know it yet. ❤
This is my first video. At first I thought you were going to burst out crying. But then I came to realise it's just your lovely gentle demeanor. Your artwork is so beautiful. I've subscribed 👍
I absolutely love your paintings and your tutorials! They are most informative and easy to follow along. I think my favorite part though is your bloopers in the end. You are very proper and professional in your videos and then during the bloopers you flip your finger at the camera and I immediately know I would enjoy having coffee with you. Thank you for the giggles😂❤
I needed this lesson badly. My watercolors are good but not awesome, and this technique looks pretty awesome so thank you so much. My washes are always kind of dead for lack of a better term.
The bloopers cracked me up!!!! Ok, seriously, I love how you show the viewer how you mix the paint on the pallet, and the amount you're using of each collar to achieve the right mix. Thanks!!!
LOL... You need to do the outtakes more often! LOVED it and I just finished painting the FFRRROG and posted in on the Facebook page. Thank you for great tutorials.
Louise, I came here for the great watercolour tips, but stayed for the blooper reel. What a fun way to finish your video, and not expected at all. Great job. I’m definitely subscribing.
This is the best technique for watercolors. Really showcases the unique beauty of the art. I'm currently painting my brindle doggo using this exact technique. I'm ecstatic about how awesome it looks. I'm not bragging, I'm happy that it's looking just how I envisioned. All because I watched your video on the crow. Thank you for sharing.
VERY helpful! Thank you so much for making this video. I needed to understand what charging was and how to do it correctly. Your work is amazing to me. It's just gorgeous. God bless!
Loved watching your video and the bloopers, in the end, reminded me so much of my stumblings that I feel right at home with you. You are just too cute!!!
Yes! A lucky frog on Patreon. This will be so much fun to play with. In a month I should have enough practice dropping colors. I think I have my problem figured out - my initial color is not watery enough and it has too much pigment. Glad to have the weekend off to play in my studio. Will try the white rose on Patreon. So happy!
That's a beautiful little frog and, as always, you give such clear instructions on how you do what you do. And, of course, you're my favorite person to be flipped off by.
That was great! I very much enjoyed your lovely frog and I learned what charging meant. Your bloopers at the end just topped it all off! Love that so much!
Just found your channel and I think your videos have helped me more in the last 24 hours than the 40+ other channels I've been watching. Not to mention, I love the bloopers you add. It makes you seem more real and friendly =D thank you for that!

Yes, let the water do the work! Excellent tutorial- thanks!
