Excellent Preview. I am looking forward to playing this one solo. North Korea is a subject that fascinates me and is hard to model. Seems like this game has done it well.
nice unboxing as usual it looks an interesting game the only other game that I can think of that is some what close to this is Rogue State a solitaire simulation by Tiny Battle Publishing
Rogue State does cover DPRK, but this one is much different. I enjoyed Rogue State for the challenges it provided both from within and without. This one expands the challenges, and the cardplay shakes things up with every play. Plus, this is a two-player game with a solo component, not just a solo game as RS is. It's great to have two games on this unique subject!
@@MoesWargames thanks for the reply Moe i have to say the the quality of the components looks first rate I await you AAR/Review video on this one with interest
I don't like the direction compass is going this year. Last year they got the most of my money from all the big wargame producers. This game looks garish and over produced. I will likely never know if there's a good game here because of it. Tough competition out there.
Color scheme is garish but the gameplay is solid and interesting to play from either side. It's also one of the few games where you play as the DPRK, a unique situation on its own to help this game be a bit different.
good presentation as usual, ugly map and unappealing topic, sorry but I care not if we can simulate success or failure of this insane regime getting nukes. 1000 other games to buy before this.
Thanks! You'd be surprised how engaging the game is. It's a two player game, one player is the West and the other is the DPRK. Yep, it's an insane regime but it's also a game, so I can play either side without any worries.

It definitely is an enjoyable game, and challenging as either player. Looking forward to playing again and then digging into the solo piece!

Great overview, Moe.
Thanks Brian, hope it helped!
If you had time, would you perhaps consider doing a solo play through video?
I will try to do so.
Thanks Moe, Ken.
Thanks for checking it out Ken!
A bit red??? That’s hideous who would choose that colour? That’s going to start smarting after looking at that too long
Yea, just a bit red.... ;)
