true discipline is the ability to have whatever app you want on your phone but still accomplishing your goals, being able to focus without having a boldface reminder as a wallpaper
especially if youre going to tell people to follow you on instagram, if you and the people following your advice intend to only use it for posting, then in an ideal world, no one would see those posts, because they uninstall the app right after
The thing is, devices and apps are DESIGNED to grab our attention. Literally departments worth of marketing people are designing these things to grab your attention for as long possible. Many of which are subconscious cues such as bright apps, red notifications, raise to wake, etc, etc. minimizing these distractions is just another way to keep yourself from delving down a rabbit hole of endless nonsense before your even aware of it. Reduce the noise and clutter so that you can have singular focus.
@@Neon_PulseYes! Exactly. Though I would go a step further. It isn’t only departments of marketing people. It is departments of people trained in neuroscience, folks with next-level knowledge of how to biochemically addict us. More drastic measures might be wise when faced with this army of professionals focused on one mission: getting us to spend more time on the device.
Not true. If you're not there yet, eliminating distractions and creating friction in path of instant gratification is the best way. It's more practical than using your will power.
It's great to see a lot of people are turning to this... Quitting social media 2 years aho and dumbing my smartphone, was probably the best decisions in my life to increase my productivity. I made a whole video about it as well!
Wow. You have put in so much work on your channel and such good content too. Can't believe you haven't blown up yet. It's coming soon for sure. All the best!
very cool thing with the "focus" blurr wallpaper, but wouldn't it make more sense for it to be blurry after unlocking and focused before? like a metaphor of getting out of your focus when logging into your phone
would love to be able to delete my social media apps but unfortunately i can't. i'm a marketing manager and oversee all of our social media channels. posting, deleting app, and then redownloading again is such a big inconvenience and a waste of time - no way that is realistic. and if my youtube app was deleted i wouldn't have stumbled upon your channel and this video.
bro wallpaper link
just posted download link for free in here: www.skool.com/miles-ahead-7196

Prevention is better than the cure. 🤷🏾♂️

You can turn off the search icon on your Homescreen, i think it's much cleaner
Your video was really great!
yo how do you make your wallpaper blur when pulling down lockscreen and pulling out app drawer?
i'm wondering: why do you use Ōura Ring and Day One and Whoop when there are iOS features for these?
hi bro, wallpaper link pls
