It;'s like the 90s when you bought the wrong version of a rap album. Take it home, turn it on, and it "skips" on every 4th word because it was the "edited version". Sucked then...sucks even more now. TREMENDOUS ALBUM
one of the albums that made me as a human being
Susan Silver was Soundgarden and Alice In Chains manager...wife of Chris Cornell...one-time landlord to Mother Love Bone's Andrew Wood and AIC's Jerry Cantrell. She worked at a clothing store with Candlebox's frontman (who wrote Far Behind about Andrew Wood) and that's where Chris Cornell got his famous Doc Martens that started a fad in the 90s that lived on for a long time. Nirvana credited Susan Silver with "teaching them about the music business" (dont know if thats a good thing or bad thing) even though she wasnt their manager. I was able to meet her after an Alice In Chains show around 92/93 and she was awesome....definitely a Founding Mother of Grunge.

Release is one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs besides Tremor Christ
I've been lucky to go to PJ shows since 1995. Tremor Christ and Glorified G are absolute fire live. Especially in a sweat and mud filled mosh pit.

I didnt care for Tremor Christ when it came out, but I love it now. A rare PJ song that A) I didnt like and B) changed my mind.
@@Gekokujo76 so many pj songs that i didn’t like at first due to wanting it to sound like Ten but when you get past that expectation you see the true beauty in their work! So many songs i disliked before that i absolutely love and sing 1000% wondering how i could’ve ever hated on it lol. Glad I’m not the only one ❤️🔥
Man, jeremy and black are still 🔥 songs. Those and alive are definitely my faves on the album. Idc that they are singles, they are awesome songs.
I loved Pearl Jam back then, and still jam to them now! August of 1991 was the summer before my senior year in HS, and this album completely spoke to me.

I heard this and Soundgarden-Badmotorfinger on the same day. I knew right away these albums were special.
Went on a date in 1992...I put "Ten" in my cassette player...on the way home, she pulls out a tape - "Undertow", by Tool.
We eventually fell in love as adults...but now, I finally GET Tool.

They headlined Hyde Park London, 2 nights in a row the summer before last. 60k+ people both nights and I was there for both. 30 years on they still great. Pixes supported the first night they were brilliant too!
Was there on the Saturday. Amazing show. Opening with corduroy - win. Hopefully gonna make it to one of the UK shows announced this year 🤞🏼

Possibly a self censor/edit. RUclips algorithm can cause videos to be demonitized if there's swearing at the beginning I believe.

So many bands/ acts out there release album after album and EP after EP only to never be heard by anyone.
