Sometimes because Korean products are marketed for their Korean consumers their application techniques and preferences are very different from the western beauty standards and sometimes using western techniques for these products are not the best I do think it’s good to be knowledgeable in different techniques when trying makeup overseas out to give them a fair chance. So definitely try a marshmallow puff for hur blushes and you would not be disappointed.

The hur serum blushes are soooo good depending on how you apply it. It does not work well with the tirtir foundation but that’s the only foundation I own that it doesn’t work well on top of. I absolutely do not use a brush or my fingers with it though you likely wouldn’t like it that way. But if you use something similar to the flower knows marshmallow looking puff they came out with their cream blushes it works so amazing and it’s one of the most gorgeous blush it lasts all day and looks gorgeous when applied with this type of puff.

i appreciate these videos A LOT! 1. quick videos that are straight to the point (I'm here for it). 2. i have a similar skin type (sensitive, combo). Your opinion does steer me in a better direction for products to try. Please keep doing these!

There's something about Korean make up that I just don't understand. Half of what I've bought hasn't worked for me. And I've watched tutorials on Korean make up and read the brands' instructions on correct usage but just can't get them to work. I have some products that I love though so they're clearly there. But it looks like I just don't know how to _choose_ products that suit me, I never know what I'm getting. Annoying. Will keep on trying, maybe I get it some day.
(Skincare is a whole different story. Somehow I seem to like all Korean skin care products I buy. Go figure. 🤷‍♀️)

I wish I watched your video about the Daisque mood blur lip pencil before...I bought the darkest one and ended up using it as a nose contour pencil because I cannot make it work as a lip pencil. I use it on my nose or line under my lip as a shadow. The other colours are too bright and light to be natural on the lips. The texture reminds me of chalk pastels.

I have the same sentiments about the BOJ suscreen! However, I tried to make it work on my skin (oily/dehydrated but just dehydrated during winter). So I just exclusively use this during the driest winter months. I just use a serum with vit c that's very light (watery texture), add lotion type moisturizer, then this. But yeah, I still avoid to rub it too much. Instead just wait for the white cast to mellow down on its own before I put on a make up. So I say it's a very high maintenance sunscreen. But for me, it s the only one that works during winter and prevents my face from looking so wrinkly T_T

Thank u morgan for being honest ❤ i dont like korean marketing mostly about their lip tints the way they advertise new formula or new colour its always the same pinks & corals some dont even stain so its just marketing.

Ughh the anua cleansing oil has this fragrance that keeps getting into my mouth after using. I hate tasting it so much but nobody else online seems to have the same problem 😢

I’m so glad I didn’t get the hur serum blush. Everyone was raving about it and I was gonna buy it but after looking into it more I had a feeling I wouldn’t like it. Looks too sheer and tacky for my preference. I like products that are more pigmented and on the matte side so I can apply a thin layer and it won’t feel heavy.

Keep these videos coming. I like that you give your honest opinions on products. I’m not a fan of the BOJ sunscreen serum either XX

I don't like the Romand melting balms either. They're too pigmented and the kiind of pigment they have dries the life out of my lips. Also, it looks like a lipstick on me (and my skin is in the medium-tan range), a very glossy one that spreads all over my face. Thanks, but no.

the lagom one is a morning cleanser, I also have a sensitive dry skin type and I tried this as a first step makeup remover, a second cleanse but ultimately its supposed to be a gentle morning cleanser the brand recommends to use it as a morning cleanser as well

Hi Morgan, what do you think of the Fwee cheek and lip colors or the Dasique ones?

Something u could try instead of the hur serum is the apieru juicy pang water blusher bc they can be damn pigmented with one stroke of the brush. Currently its been on my cheeks for 7 hours and the colour aint fading 😂. Its put on top of the tirtir red cushion btw

I have a few romand lip tints- the juicy lip tint definitely have a smell too. I have two of them and they smell them same -like melted rubber or plastic. It just smells dangerous for me. But their dewyful lip tints are fine.

I'm also sensitive to a lot of scents in Asian beauty products, and I don't know what it is. I really wanted to like the Mentholatum lip fondues, but something about the smell was very chemically and oily to me. But everyone else seems to love it?
