This is from the documentary, "ANZAC" and is an episode on the RAAF. It was made sometime in the 60's I'm afraid. As the footage may have been used in newreels. This I'm afriad, is not a newreel.
The documentary may have been made in the 60's however, alot of the footage was not. The documentary used actual "newsreel footage" since at the time the doco was made for example, there was only 1 surviving intact Boomerang ( A46-30) and it was not in flyable condition therefore, there is no way they could have filmed it flying. So the footage you are seeing is from a newsreel.
