Thank you !! Ive done everything you have said for the last week now and my symptoms have been the best they ever have been in my 10 weeks of recovery. Def take it back when stretching. I was stretching 4-6 times a days. Symptoms always got worse. Now they are nearly gone. And i have 4 herniated dics! I walk 40-50 minutes a day now with no pain. Core and stability exercises every other day. And my nutrition is number one. Surgery sometimes isnt needed! Thank you so much for your great info !!!!!!!!!!!

If you have excess lordosis, you need support for the L3, L4 L5, and a relatively soft mattress does this. Also, need support for this part of the back in a chair or car seat.

I might just have to pay you a visit in person. I live a short train ride away from Farnham (i.e. I live in Surrey), and I've had symptoms of herniated disc and piriformus syndrome for months now (likely a result of prolonged sitting while working from home and digging too much in the garden during my spare time).
I have visited a couple of physiotherapists, with mixed experiences. But your videos make a lot of sense based on all the research and trial and error I've done over the last few weeks. I'm still waking up with crippling muscle pain in the left buttock, and my instincts have told me that certain stretches aren't really helpful.

Hi Will, it has been 8 weeks since I was diagnosed with two herniated discs between L4-L5-S1. The nerve compression is bilateral so I'm having Sciatica symptoms in both my legs but weakness and numbness only in the right leg. I am much better now, my walk has improved and the weakness is almost gone. But i still feel the lateral region of my right foot numb. Also my calf feels heavy. My doc says i ll be fine but I don't feel completely fine. He prescribed some exercises but they made the pain worse. What would you suggest for dealing with this heaviness and slight pain in my calf.
