Was a memorable one for sure, its always luck of the draw but was definitely a treat this time out. Thanks for watching matey, much appreciated. Cheers, Rich.
Finally!! A nature lover that will look into the camera and "TALK" to his viewers. I like this style and yes I subbed because so few hikers speak in their videos and most of them wont show themselves. I get tired of watching some nature videos where as all you see is an ass and a pair of elbows walking away from view. Your style reminds me of Erik Normark which is my favorite naturalist video journalist, nice job.
Thanks a lot, i really appreciate your comments. I like to find a balance, I dont't want to talk too much but i think its also important to let viewers know whats going on. I take a lot of inspiration from Eriks videos, I also watch ADVENTURE IS MADE (i really like his style). Thanks again for watching and all the best. Cheers, Rich.
I was always told taking water from a standing water source was a no go! Im certainly not brave enough to try anyway :) if it hadnt been getting on I would have probably head to a waterfall nearby and boiled that up. Thanks for watching the video, really appreciate it 👍 Cheers, Rich.
Thanks a lot! Its some irony that after saying how carrying the extra weight to have the chair was worth it, to then go and set fire to the thing! 😄 Cheers, Rich
Good one, I'm waiting for the green elixir to come in stock. Got plenty tents but I getting elixir 1 for the WHW. I've lost a couple of things to the wind. You get another chair? At least it wasn't the tent that got burned. ATB.
I had to wait for the green to come in stock as well, wasnt a huge fan of the white. Superb tent though, I'd have no hesitation buying it again! Luckily I have another of exactly the same chair that I use when going out on trips with the missus, so that will do me for now. Definitely a schoolboy error leaving the chair like that in the wind, should have seen it coming! Cheers for watching bud, Rich.
On the plus side. If you’d spent £100 odd on a helinox chair . That would’ve hurt a lot more. If you want a bit more comfort in your tent a thermarest trekker chair comes highly recommended and uses your existing pad.
Had it been a Helinox i think it might have just flown off into the fells! 😄 Not heard of the trekker, will certainly check it out. Cheers buddy, Rich.
@@campinginthewilds Yeah they’re very light, at a huge cost. I use my trekker chair outside ( on top on a cut down foam pad, for extra protection) Sun lounger or chair, weighs nothing. I don’t go without mine.
Great film, love the drone shot, gave you the thumbs up 👍
Cheers Richard, really appreciate the comment. All the best, Rich. 👍
