You got it John! That is exactly it, keep practicing and practicing, it is the only way to nail such riffs. As you can see here, there are still little mistakes here and there but it is all part of the learning process.Especially these two dudes from Lamb of God have been my "teachers" throughout the years, since I am always trying to learn their riffs and that serves as a nice exercise. At first when you skipped the lil solo in the beginning I was thinking well this guy is not going to be very good. A lot of guys quit the hard solos and licks and only focus on the Rhythm and chord changes. but then you completely turned me around and gained another subscriber. absolutely amazing. For the second, I went in a fraction of seconds late but due to the fact that I recorded two layers of guitar (second one was added afterwards) that one is picking up the correct note.
