His lows are great but to combine them with his gorgeous high register is above and beyond, complete perfection.
Most beautiful thing he has ever done. You're right bro.....GOOSEBUMPS!
That was like being wrapped up in a tight, warm vocal hug 🥰
butterflies and stars in denim.... perfect, LOL. For me, it is his high register that breaks me on this one. I'm on my 8th or 10th listen, and I still dissolve into tears a few notes in. Impossibly beautiful.
I actually enjoyed his upper register in this sooo much. I mean, his low notes are always a joy to hear but that he can produce such a beautiful clear upper sound is just amazing to me. Loved the reaction. ❤️
Geoff is never afraid to try something different and make it his own ❤️🏴
"A grizzly bear that's probably uploaded something else." 😂🤣
The bass after that one modulation sounded like it might be a combination of his voice WITH the piano? I think? LOL!
I think so too
Stunning, beautiful. Not a few of us have been in tears listening to this. It's just so lovely.
Absolutly PENOMINAL all the harmonies blending almost made me cry diffently had chills loved it!!! Thanks 4 great reaction
I can't wait for the duet... Geoff and QoFy Reacts!
Thank you for your reaction. You're the best! This is so gorgeous. I loved it.
Thank you too!
I love when he stretches that higher range. We all love his bass, obviously, it's amazing, but his higher register is just as clear and smooth and beautiful. I've called this one a balm for my soul, the perfect way to start a new year. :) Hope you got some good sleep after this, but it was great!
I so enjoyed hearing you sing Shenandoah knowing what note Geoff was coming in on. Priceless. This version by Geoff is the most beautiful I have heard. Smooth, clear and mellow vibe. I do think there were some piano notes in this as Geoff “plays” throughout. Thanks for your reaction
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm old enough to remember the movie that goes with this song that stars Jimmy Stewart and it makes me cry thinking of the movie every time I hear the song. Geoff did a gorgeous version!
So glad I refreshed the “geoff castellucci reactions” by upload date.
Definitely shout out to the bass lovers and bass community, as someone who’s apart of it, the love I feel for geoff and other basses is immense. 😌
Awesome!
Your smile says it all😊
Tuggs at an older lady's heart stings.
Thank you for reacting to this. I got the same feeling watching it. Just amazing!
Love your reactions. So good!
Geoff's range is bananas and bananas is good. His voice is beautiful and, really, draws you in.
My favorite part is, literally, from the first note to the last.
One of my favorite songs since childhood. Beautifully done. ❤️
“Butterflies and stars...” Now I have a mental image of Geoff as a male faerie with monarch wings...
hahahah
Wonderful reaction. The song was so special. Good job. Hope your cough gets better.
ones again he shakes the earths bones with his voice
Love it! ❤ goose bumps need to catch up! 😁
My goosebumps need to catch up...
haha
Qofy, did you decide whether that really deep undertone in that one section was vocal or synth? I couldn’t make up my mind. We all love that bone-rattling bass but his higher registers are also so beautiful. Great review!!
Thank you, couldn't decide either
The underlying bass is a mix of him and the piano
Thought so too
Your facial expressions were telling everything, I loved it 💕
😊 thank you
Great reaction 🤩
Answering your question about whether Geoff was doing the bass in the tenor section: I don't believe it was him. It was absolutely constant, so it is a note from the piano being repeated in sync with the beats. Even with as seasoned of a voice as Geoff's there is still a bit of modulation in notes that low.
Awesome 😍
I love the look of pure joy when you are moved by a particular portion.
In the version on his Patreon page there is a bit at the end where he is playing the piano for the video portion and the piano is out of time. The out of tune combined with the in tune makes a horrendous sound. I don’t know he got through it.
I've love this song forever. Would love to hear you sing it.
Geoff is awesome with this. Ties Peter Hollens as my favorite.
Like Geoff first tenor clone.
That settles it..... I'm gonna start watching Brooklyn 99 again! 😁
Nine Nine!! haha
@@QofyReacts ..... Yeah, you've got me there 😁
Nice tenor voice there, Qofy! Beautiful arrangement by Geoff, as always. But given the somewhat harsh environment I would have expected a more detuned piano…
Thanks for listening
Very haunting.
Do his rendition of Misty Mountain High, that makes Shenandoah look like a baritone compilation.
I take it you're new to my channel
@@QofyReacts Yes I am, I just found you, but will be around a lot more. I didn't have time to research if you had done the other song, but didn't want to forget to leave the reply. There was just something you said about how low Shenandoah is, and Misty, is at least 2 octaves lower.
I still highly recommend Corpse. He’s more of a rapper than a singer and most of his songs are pretty intense but he has one of the deepest voices you’ll here.... especially because he’s only 23/24
Why do u always say he is baritone,, he is BASS
His words not mine
